Going to Utah actually made us come up with a Science Fair project a couple weeks before the due date! We tried one project which didn't work so we had time to try another one - that worked perfectly! It was titled Evaporation Race!
Kaiya set out on the counter fingernail polish, water, alcohol and orange juice in measuring cups. Every day she would track the rate they were evaporating. It was pretty interesting. The 1st morning I was surprised how low the nail polish remover was! That ended up being the fastest one gone and close behind was the alcohol. Water and orange juice was about the same speed.
