Mommy's little talker

I think I have another talker. Kaiya talks all the time and I mean ALL the time. I think it is maybe a lttle girl thing? Well, Ella is already a talker. She has been 'talking' and cooing for a few weeks now but I finally got it on camera! I have a a feeling our house is going to get even louder in the near future...

Mother's Day

I know that Mother's day was a few weeks ago but I wanted to post what Kaiya's kindergarten class did for the moms. All us mothers were invited to a mother's tea. Kaiya was so excited that she asked me pretty much every single day for about 3 weeks if I was going to go. Each time my response was yes. Made me wonder if she thinks I am a flake or something...? They had cookies and snacks for the kids and moms and then the kids performed about 6 songs. I LOVE Kaiya's kindergarten teacher. She has the kids do such fun things and since Kaiya goes to all day kindergarten they have extra time to do things that they normally wouldnt do.

All the kids filled out a questionaire about their moms. Here is what Kaiya wrote...

Okay so first of all my favorite TV show is NOT Days of our Lives. That little stinker said that and these things were posted on the wall for everyone to see!! Horrible. I forgave her when I saw that she thinks I weigh 40 pounds. Oh and fish?? Ummm weird! Kids are sooo funny!

Kaiya's haircut

Ever since I got my hair cut Kaiya has wanted to get hers cut above her shoulders. I took her to the salon yesterday to finally do it. She loves it! All she talks about is how much better it feels. No more stragly hair!!

Ella!

Ella is growing up sooo fast!! Last week when I took her to the doctor she weighed 11 pounds 4 ounces! She was 8' 4 when she was born. This girl eats pretty much every 2 hours. She is keeping me busy!! I love watching her grow but I still wish she stayed this size for a little longer. This past week she found her hand. It's funny to see her stop all the sudden and go cross eyed looking at her little fist.

Our pet

We have a lot of random animals in our backyard. Cirdan ran into the house one night full speed with his eyes all huge freaked out because a coyote had run right past him. He also ran in a different night telling me there was a bear in the woods back there...(there is NO bear in our backyard but he really thought there was). Anyways, here is a picture of our big fat racoon that visits us every once in a while. This guy is enormous!!

Kaiya's birthday party

We decided to let Kaiya have a sleepover this year for her birthday. The girls went to this new place in Covington named Monkey Dooz Salon. They did their nails, hair and makeup. Afterwards we took them to pizza so they could show off their makeovers. That was the first time I let Kaiya have 2 friends spend the night. I was afraid with the odd number of girls that someone would be left out but they all got along really well.

The boys dont look like they are having much fun...(that is Cirdan with Devin, Hannah's little brother)

Utah

This month has been busy! We went to Utah on May 2nd for my brother's wedding. He got married on May 3rd which is also Cirdan, Kaiya and my dad's birthday. Of all the days in the year he picked that day. The bride and groom looked wonderful! It is weird to think my brother is married. He picked a great girl and I am so excited for Amy to be part of the family. Here are some pics...

I also saw some relatives that I havent seen in a long time. It was so good to see them! A couple of my 2nd cousins are planning on taking a road trip up to Washington this summer which will be a lot of fun!

We also were able to visit some of Cirdan's family. Here is a picture of Cirdan, his Grandma and Ella. Ella looks a little cross eyed. :)

And we vistited with Cirdan's mom and went to this cool dinosaur park in Ogden Utah.

Hello! Well I did it. I created a blog. I didnt want to because I didnt want one more thing to tie me to the computer. I guess this will be a easy way to keep everyone in the loop without having to call people! :) I love reading my friends and family blogs.
