January Stuff

This happens often.

Carter's Birthday! He turned 3 so we went over to his house to celebrate. My mom made that amazing cake!
January was dealing with more sick kids.
Trying to get outside even if it was freezing to get some fresh air. The boys love being outside and could spend all day in the cold. Me on the other hand….can't! I can only tolerate so much but I have to bundle up and go outside so the boys can have some play time.
This elf that Ella made at school makes me smile. I love it!!! We put it on her bedroom door and had it up until the boys started to try and rip it down. I think this is one of the coolest project she has done. It's hilarious!
Cannon loves playing some of Papas drums at his house

Cousins

Ella was really happy about having her cousins here for the weekend. They all get along really well. The Niemi girls are so sweet and nice and they treat the boys so well too. The boys really love playing with them.
Kaiya was only around for a little bit in between her dance schedule.

Dates With No Plans

Sometimes I get a babysitter and we don't have plans. Then that means we drive and drive trying to figure out what to do. Not cool. This day we ended up at the beach in Des Moines and walked out on the pier. It's nice to be away and have dates with Cirdan. Even if we don't have specific plans (even if it is super annoying). A goal this year for me is to think of new fun things to do and get out to do those things. One more thing to add to my to do list! :)

Nursery for the Big Boy

Cannon turned 18 months which means…..NURSERY! He loved it and didn't even notice I left him. He was super good the whole time.
I tried to take a picture of him after church but he had no nap that day and he was not cooperating.
I liked this pic. Jett crying on the floor. Cannon ripping up the paper he made in class. Ella posing. That's them!!

Emily's Bridal Shower

Kim, Galade and I threw Emily a bridal shower. I am so excited for her and it was a pleasure to be apart and host the shower. There were a lot of people that came to support Emily. It was a very nice evening.
Galade put together the decorations. So cute!

I hung up some pictures of them throughout the years (they knew each other growing up)

We had a huge yummy assortment of food

Since she will soon be a Jex her mother in law gave her some Jex Mix. Super cute and fun!

Claire and Ella helped with the presents

We are looking forward to the wedding and having Ben (and his kids) be a part of the family!
