Cake Pops

Cake pops = my nemesis
Last year for Kaiya's birthday I bought some ice cream cone cake pops for Kaiya's birthday party to give out as party favors. I paid around $60 for them. They were super cute and it was something that I didn't have to worry about but in the back of my mind I wanted to try and make them myself.
While we were driving back from Oregon after Memorial weekend we stopped at the outlet mall and I came across a cake pop maker like one that I saw in an ad a few months prior. I had to buy it. As soon as I got home I tried and made my first cake pop. It worked! It was delicious and cute! They were a big hit.
I saved one of Kaiya's ice cream cone cake pops in the fridge so that I could reference it when I tried to make one myself. They turned out great!!! I was so proud of myself. This has become a fun hobby!

Early Presents are Great!

Cirdan got me an early Anniversary gift! I really wanted a Cricut, it went on a good sale so I gave him enough hints that he went and got me one. :) I haven't had a chance to use it yet since we have been so busy and out of town but I am anxiously waiting to create some cool stuff. He also got me paper, a couple cartridges and stuff to use when I make cake pops. What a great guy I have!!

Auburn Good Ol' Days

Auburn Dance was in the Auburn Good Ol' Days parade. We really had a very fun time! Kaiya danced with the kids and Ella got to sit in the back of the truck and wave at people. She wasn't shy at all and loved smiling and waving. I also sat in the back of the truck on the ground to make sure the little kids were safe. Cirdan and Jett walked along side and took some videos. The kids all had a ton of energy and everyone was having a great time.

Alajandra was Miss Washington this past year and she also rode in the back of the truck.

After some of the kids on the Xtreme team performed on stage. Kaiya and Tatum did their duo. There was a lot of people that stopped and watched the kids. They rocked it!

Nap Time Success

Awww this is what I like. Two kids asleep at the same time. Aren't they so cute together?

Yummmmm Water....

Jett loves water! He also loves to drink out of a sippy cup or a straw. If you try and take it away from him he throws a huge fit.
Ella likes to help Jett drink. She is always there ready and willing to help him eat or drink.

Seahawks Training Camp

It's starting to feel like it's not officially summer until we have been to a Seahawks training practice. This is the 3rd year we were able to go. Cirdan usually goes a bunch of times but this year I think he only went 2 times. It's been a busy summer! We planned to go the same day that the Murray family was going. It made it so fun for the kids to be able to have other little kids there to play with. The day that we went was also the day that the Blue Angels were in town so we got lucky and got to see both the Seahawks and the Blue Angeles flying over Lake Washington!
This was also Jett's first Seahawks event! Many more to come!!

Leon Washington! Leon text Cirdan and told him that whenever he wanted tickets to the game to let him know and he would hook him up! Woo hoo!
