I looked back while I as driving and saw this….

 I just had to snap a picture and document this. I love how close they are.

I drew these (horrible looking) stick people on a white board of mine. Ella got very mad at me because. "Ms. Borgmann said that you never draw people like this!!" I would flunk 1st grade people drawing class I am sure.

Ella is really becoming Ms. Fashionista. She loves to put outfits together and she is really doing a great job doing it! Really helps with all the arguments we were having in the morning before school. Proud of her!

This was the face that I came home to. She found out that I went over and saw our friends Greg & Staci's baby. She was not happy that I didn't wait for her to go.

1st Grade

Saying Goodbye to San Diego

It was Cirdan and I's 7th Anniversary!

Derek and Kim had to leave on Monday. We took a walk and got some breakfast before they packed up and headed to the airport.

We walked out on a pier. Beautiful morning. Lots of surfers out.

There are these little houses that you can rent to stay in on the pier. I know I wouldn't be comfortable staying in one but if you are more adventurous than me it would probably be a cool experience. 

 I watched this truck drive back and forth 'raking' the sand. Not sure why I thought this was so facinating.

After they left I went and laid in the sun. Cirdan joined me out there a bit later. It was so relaxing.

That night we went to dinner and then walked back to our place and watched the sun set. That was the 1st time I had seen the sunset. It was breathtaking!

Another adventure in the books. Had a fabulous time and hope to go back to San Diego again soon! It was a beautiful place and I fell in love with it the few days we were there. Next time I want to take the kids…they would have a blast!
