Kaiya's School Talent Show

The day before school got out for the summer Kaiya performed in her school's talent show. She did great and the kids loved it! She said that at recess she had tons of kids coming up to her telling her how awesome she did. It made me laugh, she also said that since they had just gotten their yearbooks a bunch of kids come up to her asking her for her 'autograph'. Kids that she didn't even know.
She performed the last part of her competition solo.

Preschool Graduation

Ella graduated from her first year of preschool! She had a wonderful year and met some wonderful friends. She learned a lot of fun songs, enjoyed snack time, liked reading books and worked on many fun projects. She also wants me to say that she liked to sit by her friend Payton. For graduation we got lucky and the rain stopped long enough to have an outdoor BBQ.
You can barely see Ella but she is on the right side in the back row.
Ella and her friend Logan.
She is looking forward to her 2nd year of Preschool. It will be at a different place...one closer to home. She will have fun making lots of new friends!

Baby Showers - Wonderful Parties and Friends!

Can I just say that I have the best friends and family??? I had 3 wonderful baby showers. The first shower was thrown by another dance mom for another prego due a week before me and myself. I love these group of ladies. We are there for each other and we all look out for each others kids. They are the best!
The second shower was thrown by my neighbor and a friend who are in my ward. We went to BJ's Restaurant at Westfield Mall. It was a wonderful girls night out and so many people showed up! I love my new ward. Even though I barely know some of them or haven't even talked to some they still come and support. Very nice bunch of girls. It was a fun evening!!
My third shower my sister Stacey threw. It was a family party. It was laid back and very nice. I didn't get a picture of everyone. This one I let Kaiya and Ella come to. Ella was really excited to be apart of the festivities. Oh, and Stacey made her yummy banana cupcakes again. Please make me more Stacey!! I only have about 2 weeks until I am back to working off this fat! :)
Aren't I lucky??! Love these people.

Mom's Birthday

More Birthdays! We celebrated my Mom's birthday on Sunday. Nate and Amy were in Utah so it was a smaller that usual gathering. We had fun. My mom tried to make her homemade ice cream but it didn't harden so we had milkshakes and lemon meringue pie. Hope you had a nice birthday Mom!

Casey's 4th Birthday Party

Casey has an obsession with American flags. He has loved them for as long as I can remember. It only made sense for Stacey to throw him a red, white and blue 4th birthday party! The kids played outside, Casey opened gifts and we ate really delish banana cupcakes that Stacey made. Oh man, I want one right now!
This boy won't hardly smile when taking a picture. This was the best picture I got. Ha ha

Prego Week 37

I went to the doctor today for an ultrasound and appointment. The baby's head was on the right side and it is not on the left side. He has turned and is pretty squished in there with this legs also down where the head should be. The ultrasound tech kept saying he is quite the gymnast. They were going to try and move the baby but with the risk so great that he would just move again we decided to just see what happens next week. We also discussed that if he isn't turned down and in position by week 39 they will schedule a C-Section, which I definatly don't want! Please baby turn!
The ultrasound tech also said the baby weighs around 6 14'. It never seems to be accurate but it is interesting to hear.
The boys room has been painted and I am working on getting some newborn clothes washed and ready to go. I need to pack my hospital bags soon and put some music on my ipod. Can't believe he will be here soon!

Mother's Tea

Ella's Preschool held a Mother's Tea around Mother's day. The kids sang to the mom's and gave us a gift. We then ate taco salad and visited. I had a lot of fun spending time with Ella.
(this was the only picture I got)

Love

I looked down in our front room and this is what I saw...
They were holding hands and Jett was holding Ella's hair while watching videos on the iPad. It was a sweet moment.

Prego Week 35/36 Update

Last week I went to the doctor at 35 weeks. Everything went well and she said I was already dilated to a 1. That shocked me. All my other kids I was nothing up until it was time to deliver. The baby was still sideways and his head was still not down. Jett didn't move into position until about week 36 so I am hoping it's the same with this guy.
I had another appointment today and the baby is still sideways. The doctor didn't want to check me...being careful not to do anything that would make me more dilated. The plan now is that I will go get an ultrasound next Tuesday morning to see how much fluid I have and to check to see the position of the baby. Afterwards I will have my normal appointment. If the baby has still not turned she will schedule for me to go to the hospital that Friday for them to try and turn the baby. I guess it is not a fun procedure and it could cause me to go into labor soon after. I am hoping that baby boy decides to turn this next week. She also said that the placenta is in front which could be dangerous when they try to turn him so they will have to monitor me longer than normal.
Please baby turn!!!
I am having a lot of contractions. It's crazy he could come at any time now. The boys room is getting painted on Saturday and we are hoping to have everything ready by next week. I washed the car seat and Cirdan bought some cute newborn outfits yesterday. It's getting so close! We still need to pick a name. I think it will have to be something that we come up with in the hospital. Hoping he comes out with a name tag on already. Ha ha

The Kids

I love these kids. I love to watch them get older and get along so well. They all really love each other and enjoy playing together.

Kaiya's 10th Glamour Birthday Party

Kaiya turned the big 1-0! I was so busy with baby/bridal showers, Kaylee's wedding, Cirdan and Ella's birthday and the pregnancy that by the time Kaiya's birthday came around I was partied out. I felt as if it was her 9th or 11th birthday I could have skipped it but it was an important one. Which means I had a busy week planning another party. Kaiya wanted a dress up/glamour party. We had to skip a couple of her ideas because I didn't have enough time/energy. The party did come together however and the girls had a lot of fun!
Kaiya invited about 13 girls and only one couldn't come. I was sure that inviting that many there would only be around 8 or less that actually came. I was wrong! When the RSVP's started rolling in I started getting scared. These girls all dance together and they are a great group for Kaiya to be friends with. All of them are so supportive of one another.
I saw these glasses on Pinterest and had to make them. Taking the Starbucks stickers off them was a pain but now I have a bunch to use for future parties.
Eating pizza and hanging out
A girl that I know sells Mary Kay so I had her come and let the girls learn how to apply makeup. They had fun putting it on themselves. I also had a table set up where they could paint their nails.
They played outside for a while. The rest of the time they were upstairs and running around the house screaming and being loud.
Kaiya's cake. I knew what I wanted but couldn't find it at the stores that I tried. I asked my mom to ask the lady at the bakery where she works (Albertsons) if she could come up with something and this is what I got. It was perfect!!
Kaiya and Bailee
Kaiya got a lot of really nice gifts and some cash. She was especially excited about the money.

All the girls

The invite
It was a fun night! I can't believe my baby girl is already 10. She is growing up so fast. Looking back at pictures it seems just like yesterday she was 5 year old. She is turning out to be a well rounded, smart and ambitious girl. Stop growing up so fast Kaiya!
