Baby boy turned 1! I decided to have a carnival/circus theme. We were in Seaside for a week and then got home and had a week to put everything together but it all turned out perfect! The circus theme was a blast and having a kid have a birthday in the summer months was also fun. We had friends and family attend. Cirdan's parents and nephews from Spokane even came over for the occasion.
We had a ton of food and sweets! Hot dogs, shaved ice, cotton candy, popcorn, candy....all the kind of junk food you find at a circus.
We bought a popcorn popper. It was a great investment!
Kaiya wanted to be in charge of the games so she kept the kids busy doing that...

I kind of got a glimpse how he would be for his cake since the week prior we had taken his 1 year pictures and he loved the cake! At first he wasn't too sure but soon after he dug in and made a huge mess. He was having a good ol' time.
