This year dance nationals were in Seaside, Oregon. It was actually a lot of fun and we all had a great time! Cirdan and I decided that I would leave Sunday with Kaiya and Cannon and then Cirdan would bring Ella and Jett on Wednesday. It's crazy expensive in Seaside that week (they hike the prices up) so we had a small hotel room. It was convenient because it was right across the street from the convention center which to me was worth it. Walking back and forth all day it was nice to be so close.
The first night we got there and headed to the beach. The team was meeting there for some party time before the start of the dance convention on Monday.
Kaiya got the board as a gift from her buddy so her buddies mom was out there helping her.

This was Cannon's first experience with sand. He loved it! He just wanted to lay on it. I had to watch him close because he also liked to put it in his mouth.

1st day of Competition was great! Kaiya had her solo, duo and trio. I will post another blog with all the awards they received.
They did FANTASTIC!!
Cannon was such a trooper! Long days of dance and a lot of sitting in the stroller. He was fantastic! Love that boy.

Chris had a tandem bike from one of the houses someone was staying at. He talked Kaiya into going with him even though she was scared.

Starley got a turn
Kaiya and Ana love to act like they are crazy fans who are obsessed with the members of the BX5 crew. They are the boys that were on the Disney show contest last summer. They are all really good friends but they like to act like they don't know them and then follow them around and get pictures with them.

I guess the rumor is Kaiya likes Anthony. This better just be a rumor since she is only 11. The 4 of them were going to take a picture but right before Starley whispered something in Ana's ear and as I pressed the button they tried to run fast so that it was just Kaiya and Anthony. Kaiya was so mad....which was kind of funny.
