The morning of the last day to submit a response I had Kaiya write something. She went off to school and soon after I got a message saying she won the contest! I was so excited for her and couldn't wait for her to get home from school. When she got home she was happy and knew instantly that she would take her friend Ana. I figured that Cirdan would be better off going with them since he is a little more comfortable around new people and would know what to say. :) The girls had a lot of fun and it was such a great experiance for them. The days before they prepared by writing down questions for him. He answered them all and seemed to really enjoy the dinner also. Cirdan ended up asking him about doing a master class at our dance studio sometime this year and he was all for it! He got all of his info and the studio owner actually contacted him a couple weeks ago and he will be coming sometime in January.
Fred's Bio -
Originally from Southern California, Fred began his dance career at the young age of four. Growing up, Fred primarily studied jazz, contemporary, ballet, and modern. He is still proficient in all of these styles, as he continues to study the craft that has made his dreams come true. Fred has extensive professional experience as a dancer. He has appeared in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Matthew Bourne's "Swan Lake", Glee, Cirque du Soleil's "Elvis", and along side Celine Dion in her legendary show "A New Day". Recently, Fred just returned form playing the role of Snow Boy on the international tour of “West Side Story”. Fred has performed as a special guest on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, The Daytime Emmys, and Strictly Come Dancing. He is also an original member of Sonya Tayeh's dance company, Sonya Tayeh Dance, and has long worked beside her as an assistant teacher and choreographer. Fred's own choreography has been performed by top studios at events and competitions across the country. With his outstanding teaching abilities, Fred has been able to inspire his students the same way so many have inspired him in his career. Fred is a shining star in the dance world, keep your eye out for him!

We all met at a bowling alley not far from town to have one final celebration! Auburn Dance did AMAZING! We had a bunch of dances make it into the extravaganza and a lot of them got 1st and 2nd overall! The studio won the 2013 FDC Studio Achievement Award for bring the highest scoring studio this week.
Ana and Kaiya got Chris' #1 Fan printed on the back of their sweatshirts. They love Chris!
