Christmas Eve morning we woke up and found a nice note from our elf. The kids love him and had a lot of fun looking for him each morning. Jett and Ella were really sad he had to go back to the North Pole. He brought them some donuts for breakfast and some fruit.
We started our Christmas Eve party a little earlier this year. We just wanted to hang out and relax and have fun and not feel rushed. It was a good time. I put Kaiya in charge of the program that night and assigning people to read the different parts of the Birth of Jesus. She took her job very seriously and had people try out for parts. She also video taped it which was HILARIOUS to watch back. I think my dad ended up with the Narrator part, Rusty was Joseph (Kaylee was Mary) and I can't remember the other parts.

Santa had to go! He told the kids to go to bed early so that he could come back and leave them gifts!

We also had italian sodas. Kaiya and Rusty/Kaylee like to have play around. Rusty had a great idea and got Kaiya really good with the whipped cream. Took a while for her to get it off.
