GO HAWKS!!!

Lots of pool pictures but the pool was a big fun part of the trip.  We always started our day with a few hours at the pool.

We knew that we wanted to go to Arizona in October. When I started looking at flights I realized that Seahawks would be there playing the Cardinals about the same time we wanted to go. We made sure that we would be in Arizona that same week and then booked our flights. Cirdan started looking for tickets and found some on craigslist in row 3 (a bit cheaper than what would be the cost in Seahawk stadium). He contacted the guy and had our friend Eric go pick up the tickets for us. Everything worked out! We were really looking forward to this trip after the tickets were purchased. I was a little nervous because I know football fans can get kind of crazy and being a Seahawks fan in another stadium is sorta scary. I wasn't going to wear my jersey but ended up feeling like I needed to represent. It was a beautiful night and the stadium was nice. The roof was off and the sky was clear. I was surprised at how many Seahawks fans were there!! A TON more than what I expected. We stayed close to them and had no issues. There were a lot of people that were arguing/fighting which is totally crazy to me. It's a game people!!!  For the most part, the Cardinals fans were classy but we saw a handful of clowns.
It was a great game! We won. The seats were great. We were able to leave the kids with Kaylee and Kaiya and everything there went perfect. The night before we had a 'trial run' and went for a walk and to Target to make sure the girls could handle the kids. It was a good idea. The kids were okay until the last 30 or so minutes. Come to find out they had given them a bunch of fruit snacks and sugary stuff which caused them to go crazy. When we went to Target we bought some of their favorite things. We bought Ella workbooks and a DVD. Jett got a play doh toy with play doh and a puzzle. We left them for Kaylee to bring out after we left. Having the trial run we were able to put together a game plan and I was impressed with both Kaylee and Kaiya. Cirdan and I were able to enjoy ourselves and not worry (too much).

Interesting fact: The lady that took this picture of us was on the same flight home with us. Weird.

A good friend from Cirdan's childhood with another high school friend of Cirdan's (Shannon, who's next to Cirdan and Tom on the end).  Tom was down from Seattle and Shannon came up from New Mexico.
Leaving the stadium. Got called a SeaChicken but we just walked on by with our heads held high knowing we just beat those Cardinals.
