Seahawks - Last Game of the Season

It was a rainy, rainy, RAINY day but I still wanted to go to the Seahawks game with Cirdan. This was the last game of the normal season. It was the game that would determine if they would go to the playoffs or not.
At this point we sat in the car waiting to see if the rain would let up a little bit. As soon as it did we made our getaway and hurried to the stadium before another downpour happened.

Our friend Staci's dance team danced at half time
It was freezing cold and raining here and there but the game was worth it and we won!
After the game the streets were filled with Seahawk fans yelling….SEA….HAWK! One area would yell the SEA part and another area would yell HAWK. It doesn't matter where you are, the grocery store, a restaurant etc that is what the Seahawks fans do!

The kids love dressing in Seahawks gear every Friday (or Monday if there is a game).

The Wheels on the Bus….

Jett had a good idea one day to push all the chairs to the side of the table to make a school bus. He is so creative!! At first I was super annoyed until I realized what he was doing and then it melted my heart. Such boys!
Him and Cannon had fun singing along to Wheels on the Bus and acting like they were driving around town. They took turns as to who would drive the bus.
Wheels on the Bus is both their favorite song and it doesn't matter what they are doing, if you start singing it they will stop immediately and start singing or doing the actions.

WWU Performance

Kaiya was invited to be a part of a performance at Western Washington University. One of her dance teachers every year puts on a program for kids from local schools to come watch as a field trip. Jovon (the teacher) asked her Thing 1 & 2 (he choreographs it) to be a part of the show. The girls were thrilled. Jovon is a tap star and the kids have learned so much since he has been at the studio.
We drove up the night before. Kaiya usually gets done around 10:30 on Thursday nights so it made for a long night. By the time we got to the hotel it was around 1 in the morning. We had to wake up early in the morning for the show so we were glad we drove there the night before. *my mom stayed home with Ella, Jett and Cannon.
Kaiya says - "it was fun."  She has so many words. TWEEN!
Anyways, after the performance the kids all sat down with the band that was there playing music to ask questions. The band talked to them about music being similar to dance and the different types of music you can do while improving. Part of the show was the band playing while Jovon tap improved.

**On the way home we stopped in Bellevue to meet with a talent agency for Kaiya (one that has been recommend). They loved her and told her they wanted to work with her on the spot! They don't usually do that. We were so pleased! She had to memorize a monologue that was at least a minute long and smashed it! The lady was really impressed. Looks like more fun things will be happening in the next year! Kaiya is an extremely hard worker and it has been a joy to see her grow into the person she is becoming.

Friends

Jett had a little friend come over to play. They were so cute together and it was fun watching them play. They both had a phone and would talk to each other from the tent (which was in the hall) into the playroom (yelling). They hung up and Nelly yelled…."Jett! I love you!" It was adorable!
What a life…..
Look at those big feet!

Best Friends Forever

Church

Jett is a Sunbeam! I am the Primary Secretary which is nice/might make it worse for Jett. He knows I am in the primary room so he wants to hang out with me. We also have 1 o'clock church which is absolutely no fun with kids. The first week in Primary Jett came and laid on the floor by me and shortly fell asleep. :(
I can't believe he is in primary already!

Fun with Ava

A lot of fun was planned while Ava was here but we couldn't do much and the kids wanted to just lay around and feel better.
We finally started restored at the end of the week so we took the girls to the mall.
Ava likes to take pictures with me. She's a goof.

We also took some of the kids to watch Frozen. It was great to at least do a couple things during the week. Ava said that when she comes for Spring Break no one better get sick!! I agree!

New Years Eve

We were planning on either going over to the Carrington's or staying at home to have a party for New Years Eve. We ended up staying at home….because we were all sick!! Not a way we wanted to spend the new year but just happy to all be together. Little did Cirdan know…he was next on the list of people to get sick and would start throwing up later that night.
Kaiya was a bit bummed since really wanted to go hang out with her friends.
Kaiya had taken my camera and took a few pictures of Ella.

Kaiya was NOT having fun

Snuggling

This is what I will miss when the kids get older. Snuggling with their little bodies. They are so snuggly and I love to cuddle with these little people.
Mommy and boys were sick so we had a chill day.
Really bad picture but I love what Jett is doing in the back. That sums up the boys. They are always pestering each other. Looks like Jett is making Cannon smile.
