GO HAWKS!!!

Lots of pool pictures but the pool was a big fun part of the trip.  We always started our day with a few hours at the pool.

We knew that we wanted to go to Arizona in October. When I started looking at flights I realized that Seahawks would be there playing the Cardinals about the same time we wanted to go. We made sure that we would be in Arizona that same week and then booked our flights. Cirdan started looking for tickets and found some on craigslist in row 3 (a bit cheaper than what would be the cost in Seahawk stadium). He contacted the guy and had our friend Eric go pick up the tickets for us. Everything worked out! We were really looking forward to this trip after the tickets were purchased. I was a little nervous because I know football fans can get kind of crazy and being a Seahawks fan in another stadium is sorta scary. I wasn't going to wear my jersey but ended up feeling like I needed to represent. It was a beautiful night and the stadium was nice. The roof was off and the sky was clear. I was surprised at how many Seahawks fans were there!! A TON more than what I expected. We stayed close to them and had no issues. There were a lot of people that were arguing/fighting which is totally crazy to me. It's a game people!!!  For the most part, the Cardinals fans were classy but we saw a handful of clowns.
It was a great game! We won. The seats were great. We were able to leave the kids with Kaylee and Kaiya and everything there went perfect. The night before we had a 'trial run' and went for a walk and to Target to make sure the girls could handle the kids. It was a good idea. The kids were okay until the last 30 or so minutes. Come to find out they had given them a bunch of fruit snacks and sugary stuff which caused them to go crazy. When we went to Target we bought some of their favorite things. We bought Ella workbooks and a DVD. Jett got a play doh toy with play doh and a puzzle. We left them for Kaylee to bring out after we left. Having the trial run we were able to put together a game plan and I was impressed with both Kaylee and Kaiya. Cirdan and I were able to enjoy ourselves and not worry (too much).

Interesting fact: The lady that took this picture of us was on the same flight home with us. Weird.

A good friend from Cirdan's childhood with another high school friend of Cirdan's (Shannon, who's next to Cirdan and Tom on the end).  Tom was down from Seattle and Shannon came up from New Mexico.
Leaving the stadium. Got called a SeaChicken but we just walked on by with our heads held high knowing we just beat those Cardinals.

Arizona - More Awesome Days

Ok, so even though we were just in Arizona last week I can't remember what we did each day. My mind must have really been in vacay mode. Monday and Tuesday we took Kaiya over to see her grandparents. On Monday a couple of her cousins were there and so was one of her aunts. They hung around and spent time together while we went back to Santan and walked around the shopping mall. Our first stop was the Disney store. That is where we found the cutest Halloween costumes for the kids.  Jett loves the store and we ended up buying toys because Jett HAD to have them (Mickey spinny thing and a package of Cars). We then went and got the kids a shaved ice and pretzel. There were some toys that the kids played on for a bit. Those pictures are all on my phone which I still need to download and post. That will be a whole other project.
Either Monday or Tuesday we stopped at the Arizona temple. The kids enjoyed walking around and exploring all the new stuff that we don't have in Washington (lime trees, cactus etc). It was sure beautiful.
Ella had her ipod and was taking a bunch of pictures. It made me proud! :)
Lime Tree...at least I hope so because that is what I am calling it
Cannon's new thing. Not Cool Cannon...not cool...
Where there is water...is where you find Jett
She would not take a good picture of just her. Was trying to get a good one for her parents.
Breathtaking
Reaching up for the fruit
I tried for a while to get a picture of Cannon. He kept running away from me or looking down. Here are some of the better ones. I love this boy!
This is so Cannon....
Still jumping...
There we go. He was having too much fun.
Dad helped. I don't think he let them actually pick one though.

More pool pictures! This must have been the morning of visiting the temple. Ella loves to jump in the pool. She is not afraid of the water and wants to be with the older girls most of the time.
