My Soon to be 2 Year Old

I turned on the shower downstairs to get it warm for Jett and Ella. I went and did something else real quick and then went looking for Jett to put him in. I looked and looked but couldn't find him until I went into the bathroom and saw this....! I guess he was a little anxious and wanted to get right in....clothes and all! He is so silly.

I love how his long hair is flat down in his face. Ha ha

He really wears himself. He often falls asleep sitting up or leaning against something. It always makes me laugh.

Jetty, who's toothbrush is that?? Not yours! I am just glad it isn't mine...this time.

Ella Starts Preschool

Ella started her second and final year of preschool. She has a new preschool this year since we moved. It is much closer to home. Ella has been enjoying it and most of her friends are also in her church class and gymnastics class. Her teacher is Miss Ashley and she is super nice!

Cannon - 2 Months

Cannon is growing up so fast! He is more alert and awake. He loves to socialize and smile. He is a really good baby and overall very calm. I love when he is playing and then just falls asleep, all on his own. I love my little baby boy! He is a big boy and doesn't even fit into some of his 3 month clothes. I have so many cute clothes that he only wore once or twice or sometimes never!

Update on Us

We got our plane tickets to Arizona in October! I am so stinking excited. Now to just lose some more weight.

October is already getting busy. Madonna concert for me, Kaiya is going to the Bieber concert, Arizona, Jett's birthday, Halloween. It will be a fun month!

Kaiya had whooping cough a couple weeks ago. NOT COOL. Especially since we have a baby in the house. I am going to thank her dad for giving it to her (eyes roll) and not telling us he had it.

Dance has started back and so has our busy schedule! Kaiya's new schedule is...
Monday - 4:15-8:15
Tuesday - 4:15-8:15
Wednesday - 4:30-5:30
Thursday - 3:45-9:00
Saturday - 8:00-2:00

Our grass was dead so we are having someone put some sod grass in. I hope it works! I am looking forward to some color in our yard...not just brown/dead stuff.

Ella and Kaiya are enjoying school. I still need to post about Ella's first day of Preschool.

I am going through all my baby girl clothes and getting rid of it! It will feel so wonderful to have a clean garage.

I had another breast infection last week. I woke up with a fever and knew...so I went to the doctor and got some more antibiotics. Not fun!!

Cannon has been taking a bottle. We only give him about 2 a week. It gives me the freedom to not feel like I have only 2 hours and have to be home. Plus, I am hoping it will help with Cannon not so attached to me like Jett was. That was/is really rough to not be able to leave because he freaks out with anyone (except Cirdan and my mom).

I think that's about it?? :)

Jett and his Tooth

Jett has an extra tooth! I need to take him to the dentist to see what they say. :(

I forgot to post this picture on the last posting. Jett decided the whole roll of toilet paper should go in the  toilet. Not just one...but 2.

My sweet little innocent boy has turned into....

A TERROR!!!!!!

In the last couple of weeks he has decided to be a big boy and start the 'terrible 2's' before he turns 2! I have to keep him by my side at all times or he is in something or trying to drink poisonous things like cleaner. We have had to lock the doors (master room and bathrooms) so he can't get in them. He also realized he can take off his pants and diaper by himself. Fortunately, none have been dirty diapers....yet.

The other day I went to open the front door and asked Kaiya to watch him. When I came back into the kitchen he was on the counter drinking my caffeinated drink. *Kaiya was on her ipod.

Last week he found a bottle of Kaiya's liquid foundation, opened it and dumped the bottle out on her carpet in her room. Kaiya has dark skin so it wasn't a pale color. Thankfully it came out with my dad's magic carpet spotter.

A day or so before that he got into the girls bathroom, opened up a bottle of finger polish remover and dumped it all on the ground.

I told Kaiya to watch him for a couple minutes. I was going upstairs to make sure that everything was okay but he was coming down the stairs. He was saying something about his arm so I looked at it and smelled bleach!!! I ran upstairs super fast and asked Kaiya what he had. She denied knowing anything but when I opened up the cupboard in the bathroom there was some bleach cleaner. She then told me that he had it in his room. He was spraying it on himself. I was furious!!! Also very scared because it could have ended in a very bad way. I hope she learned her lesson.

There has been many more 'cleaner' stories. We have been lucky.

Cirdan was showering and Jett was in my drawer....putting on mascara.

He likes to take the broom out of the laundry room. He took it upstairs and when I went to get it he laid on it and refused to let me have it.

He got a hold of a permanent black marker. Wrote on himself and Cirdan's dress shirt that was hanging in his closet.

Climbing over the counter...getting mad because I was stopping him.

I am sure that there are many stories I am forgetting. It has been a busy/tough couple weeks with this little guy.

Spending Time With Family

We've had a fun 3 weeks. First Sue and Richard came into town, the next weekend Emily came over and then the following weekend Galade and the boys came over. It was really nice to visit with all of them!

Kaiya the 5th Grader

 

I have a 5th grader! Kaiya was nervous for her 1st day of school because she heard that her teacher was mean. I told her that it's the bad kids that have to worry...not her. All day long I watched the clock anticipating her walking through the door. She had a good first day of school and said her teacher was nice and even funny! This is her first time having a boy teacher. Can't believe how grown up she is!

I bought her a donut for her breakfast. My mom pointed out that it wasn't very healthy so I also bought her a bagel. :)

We are lucky to have the school so close. This gate is about 40 yards away from our house and goes right to the field at the elementary school. I don't have to worry about school buses or all the other parents also picking up their kids. She was walking fast trying to get away from me. She was way too cool for her mom to walk her to school. Tear. I told her I was walking her to her class...whether she liked it or not! As soon as she saw a bunch of other parents there I think she chilled out a bit. She even started to cry...that's how bad she didn't want me to walk with her!

Gymnastics

I signed Ella up for Gymnastics. She was nervous to go (she cried in the morning) but I promised her an ice cream cone afterwards.   She ended up loving it!!  She asks to go everyday now.   There was another girl in her class from church (and preschool). This coming week there will be 3 other girls joining them from church. I think she liked having something different from Kaiya who always has dance stuff. She did fantastic and had a ton of fun!
