San Diego

We were so excited! In August we planned a trip to San Diego with our friends Derek and Kim for the Seahawks game. Cirdan found a condo on the beach, bought Seahawks tickets and we booked our airline tickets. My mom watched the kids for us while we were gone. Everything fell into place!
When we got there we upgraded to a convertible. We had to! Nice weather? Beach city? It was a must!
The airport was one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Flying in was amazing. The water and the buildings. It was beautiful.
That night we sat out on our massive deck.
We also walked down the boardwalk to a little place for some food. Right there on the beach. Such fun!

The next day we got dressed up in our Seahawks gear and walked down the boardwalk. It was a mile and 1/2 one way so 3 miles total for us to walk from the condo to Belmont. There were a ton of Seahawks fans! Everyone was yelling "Go Hawks!" all day.
We walked down to Belmont. Shopped a little and watched the rides. It was so hot outside!!! I was sweating big time.
We found this gluten free sandwich shop (about a 5 minute walk). I still think about it. It was extremely good. Best I have ever had. I also loved the little trays they used.
Yum
Our deck
We were starving and decided to eat at this little bar down the way. This was a picture from my seat. Down in the house below there were some sketchy people. Definitely drug deals going on. Not something that made me comfortable. Not something I want to be watching while eating my nachos.
The next day - Our friends arrived!!
Kim and I having some beach time
We took a drive to Hotel Del Coronado. That place was gorgeous! We walked through the hotel. They were setting up for a couple weddings. Lucky people!
The sand and the beach was amazing
When we got back to Mission Beach Kim and I headed to the water to lay out in the sun.

That night we walked down to where a bunch of the 12's were gathering. There were a ton of Seahawk fans.
We face timed with the kids
It was a great day!!!!!
