Heading over to dance. We didn't have any super early mornings which was really nice. Since we stayed at the resort where the competition is held we just had to ride down the elevator, out the front doors, turn left, walk about 20 feet and we were there. It was very convenient. At first we walked thru the casino - up elevators and down escalators until we realized the short cut.

The last day there was a few dances and then they had a showcase/extravaganza (can't remember what their name for it was). Kaiya had 2 dances go that afternoon. Cloud 9 and Why Don't You Do Right. We were all confused as to what it really was. Those dances didn't even win or score that high. They just seemed to pick random dances that battled and got an even bigger trophy than the dances that actually did place 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.
Auburn Dance Academy received the Top Studio award. An AWESOME way to end the week!! It is a huge award!!
Afterwards we went to the arcade in the casino with the little kids. It was a lot like Chuck E Cheese - their favorite place.

We then walked across the street. The weather was perfect!! There was places to eat and little shops.
Then got frozen yogurt - this is what vacation is for! Right?

In the Cloud - Skyler broke her ankle from stretching. Ok, well not really. They took her to the hospital and the ER told her she broke it but once she came back to Washington she found out all she did was maybe sprain it? Very strange. She unfortunately didn't get to compete the last couple days.

There was even a spray play area. If we didn't have such an amazing pool at the resort the kids would have played here.

The team all went bowling after the showcase. It was a very long day and by the time we got there it was around 11pm.
