A few weeks we wanted to go do something fun. We decided to go to the zoo. Now that we have our own business it has been hard to get away from the phones and have a little fun. Having fun is something that we definitely need to do a little more of. We decided to buy the membership.
We walked through the zoo and then stopped in the children's play area. I knew that if we had gotten Ella out of her stroller we would have never been able to get her back in. I thought this kids area was really fun for the girls!

What a good investment a zoo pass is! We did that a few years back and it totally paid off and the Point Def. Zoo is the perfect size, not too big, not too small for the little kids with all of the walking- and since you have the pass you can always go on a whim, there are fun shows at the little ampitheatre throughout the year also- the only thing we didn't make it to that year which I wish we had was zoo lights also we didn't do the NW trek pass along w/ the zoo- but that sounds even better, NW trek is on our summer plans list (I haven't been there since I was a kid.)
