Little too close
On my way home yesterday Cirdan called me to say there was a coyote in the backyard. It was sunny and around 5 o'clock so it was pretty crazy that a coyote came out of the woods to chill. Cirdan has seen them before in our yard but it has been at night. This coyote laid in the sun and in our yard right outside our house for about a half hour. A little too close...

sweet mother of poop, that is way too close. i'm guessing an exterminator wouldn't solve that issue.
You've got to be kidding! That is insane, in the middle of the day...pretty gutsy of that fella! Does Cirdan have a gun? Just kidding,is that even legal to shoot at it on your own property? Is there some one you could call, like animal control or something? Are you terrified to sent the kids out to play now? Or is it like he is more scared of you than you are of him? I know those guys live in the woods and that's pretty typical to hear them at night but in the day time in your own back yard, I'd have to agree...too close for comfort!

JJ told me about that- CRAZY! I would've been the crazy mom locking her doors and tip-toeing around the house (like the coyote can actually UNLOCK the doors!). Let's just hope he stays away for a while...
