Well we did it! We finally did it. We bought a house in Arizona. It will be a vacation house that we rent out and use ourselves. We are very excited and can't wait to take the whole family! I took my mom with me after it closed to get some things done. We were there Friday until Tuesday and the whole time I was in meetings with people or shopping for stuff. It was crazy busy but I loved every minute. A bit overwhelming without Cirdan there but my mom helped out and I got a lot done.
6 am flight. EEK!! Super early but I needed a full day in Arizona to start on all the stuff that needed to get done.
We were able to watch the sun rise from the airplane. It was beautiful.

We drove down the road to find the big Nascar stadium and saw this. Driving down a few miles you are basically in the middle of nowhere (which is how it feels)

Very successful trip. Met with a pest guy (who sprayed), home monitoring guy (who will monitor our house and send weekly updates), multiple window guys, painters, a guy who will install cameras etc, I had satellite TV set up in 5 rooms, the internet hooked up and I am sure I am missing someone else.
