Jett at 3

Loves to have his feet scratched - when I say love I mean LOVE!! Whenever he lays down next to us he puts his feet on us and demands us to scratch. He says scratch my oot.  I blame Kaiya since she was the one who always played with his feet when he was really little.

Play Doh - He is obsessed with Play Doh! He will play with it all day long. He wants to take it everywhere he goes (which makes for a big mess).  He also loves the tools that go with it. He likes the bakery, ice cream, tools that you can squish the Play Doh thru, everything really!

Gook Nack - How he pronounces Fruit Snack - He doesn't say his F's and sometimes S's

Read books - He loves to look at books and have us read to him.  He enjoys the picture books, and calling out all of the things he sees.

Has started being potty trained - bad mommy….I need to really focus on staying home and having him wear underwear.

Always wants to open door - If someone knocks he insists on opening the door. If someone else opens the door then he throws a huge tantrum. I try not to give into him but there has been times where the person has had to go back outside and knock again just so that Jett can open the door.

He's a bit, or quite a bit OCD, when he gets something in his head that he wants to do, carry something or whatever it may, it's hard to snap him out of it until he does it.

Loves Play Doh videos - He watches youtube on Cirdan's iPad and loves watching videos about Play Doh  Example -  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKSGkdat7mk

He also loves to watch surprise egg videos. He will watch these for hours (if I let him) - Example - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teASJBatVCE - VERY WEIRD!! ha ha  He will go through all kinds of videos like play doh or surprise eggs and others in different languages and just watch away.  He will sit and watch random explainer videos of different stuff.

He watched Dora or other cartoons also. I have caught him more than once watching shows in Spanish. He will sit there and watch the whole thing. It is very strange but makes me laugh.

He is a candy freak! He would live off candy if we let him. He has been known to eat the whole big thing of tic tacs (with 150 in them) all in about an hour. He loves mints, chocolate, anything!

He loves to tell us he loves us. He always says…,"I love you Mommy." "I love you Daddy." Sometimes he says it 10 or more times a day. It melts my heart.

He loves to wrestle with Cannon. He looks out for his little brother and only wants to go places if Cannon is going also.

He loves to brush his teeth!

He likes to climb and does it all the time. He also likes to move my kitchen table chairs across the floor to get into cupboards (to get candy or play doh)

He likes Eggo waffles (blueberry), pancakes, cheese, crackers, popcorn, apples, all berries, rice. He is a good meat eater and likes steak and chicken.  Sometimes he takes off the bun and just wants the meat in a hot dog or sandwich etc.

Starting to come out of his shell. He is still shy but he is getting better. The only time he isn't shy is when he is mad and cries. He doesn't care who is around and he is really loud!!! He has this really loud yell/cry. Eek!

Wants to play with water any chance he gets. He is obsessed with cups of water, playing in water, turning on the sinks or tubs. Anything with water.

If he takes a nap (even if its 10 minutes) he will be up until no earlier than 10:00pm. He likes to go to sleep late and wake up late (around 9). He already seems like a teenage boy! He also will ask Cirdan for a sandwich or some other food at 10/11pm.

Playing with his sisters toothbrush and Play Doh while they were at school.

Foamy Drinks

The kids love hot chocolate or flavored steam milk. I was gone one day and Cirdan took these pictures of the boys. Cirdan made Jett a foamy milk. Not sure what he liked more, the drink or putting his hand in the foam.
How do you get foamy fingers?
Doing this...

Jett is 3

Jett the night before his big birthday. Spoiled boy! Eating crackers in bed....and watching tv (on daddy's side)
Jetty turned 3. That morning we woke up and took him to one of his favorite places….The Bouncy Place. Kash and Sandy also came to play with us and celebrate.
Kash gave Jett a present after. A cool truck!
Later that night we had a little party for Jett. My parents, Nate and Amy's family, Sandy and Kash and Greg, Staci and the twins came over. Jett loves trucks so we had a construction/truck party.
Helping with the decorations. Cone cups!
Before he blew out the candles he put a big piece of candy in his mouth.
We all sang Happy Birthday...and then had to wait for him to swallow his candy to blow out the candles
I found a cake online and my mom made it! She did an amazing job!!!! Jett absolutely loved it and still talks about his truck birthday cake.
Happy Birthday little man!

Marguerite Derricks

The day after we got home from Arizona, Kaiya went to the dance studio for a master class with Marguerite Derricks. Kaiya was in class with about 20 other kids. Then they invited a small group of kids back to have a more intimate session with her. She sat down…had each kid get up and dance individually and then she talked to them and critiqued them. She gave them a lot of good advice and took time with them. They video taped  the small group of kids and she took the videos back to 2 really well known Talent Agencies in LA. Three of the boys (we just found out last week) actually got signed with one of those agencies! Good things are happening! I am so proud of each and every kid at that dance studio. They all work so hard and they are all great kids.

Marguerite Derricks, is a former ballerina and a multi award-winning choreographer fromBuffalo, New York.[1]
Derricks studied ballet at the National Ballet School of Canada; she admired Karen Kain.[1] Derricks was behind the choreography of two films similar in their subject matter, Striptease (1996) and Showgirls (1995).[2] Some of her more noted works include the Austin Powers films, 10 Things I Hate About You (1999), Donnie Darko(2001), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Spider-Man 3 (2007). After the first Austin Powers film, she became famous and increased her reputation with an advertisement for The Gap, "Go Go." During one interview, she said that with regard to her newfound popularity, "it all started with Mike [Myers]," (the star of Austin Powers) and added that "Go Go has changed my life."[1]
In 2006, Derricks choreographed Sister Act the Musical, which had its world premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse. At the turn of 2009, she served as the choreographer for director Kevin Tancharoen's 2009 remake of the movie, Fame. She is currently the choreographer for Gregory Boyd and Frank Wildhorn's new musical "Wonderland"; a twist on the "Alice in Wonderland" children's story. Marguerite Derricks is also the choreographer for the film Tropic Thunder in which Tom Cruise delivers a dance performance as Les Grossman, the movie mogul he portrays.

In 2002, she won an American Choreography Award for her work on That '70s Show[3] adding to two others for The Gap "Go Go" and the short lived sitcom Jenny starring Jenny McCarthy. Messy Boys

The house is quiet….for 2 minutes…so I know something is up. Go upstairs to find the boys and this is what I find.
Busted
Jett had gone into the girls bathroom, got some soap and decided to pain the window in Ella's room with it.
How could I be mad at that face?
The girls bathroom is a constant headache. Jett, Ella or Kaiya leave the door open and to Cannon that means….COME INSIDE AND GET IN TROUBLE! He loves to play in the toilet. He also loves to take all the toilet paper off the tube and put in the toilet. TMI but I have also found him in there around the toilet when someone didn't flush. Big time barf in my mouth. Unfortunately the girls still haven't learned and still leave the door open (and light on most of the time) pretty much every time they use the bathroom. Jett is now to the age where he doesn't love the bathroom. He helps me to…whenever he sees the door open he closes it and tells me he closed it because of Cannon. Jett is a really good big brother and when the 2 of them aren't being naughty he plays with Cannon really well and lets me know if he is doing something he shouldn't.
