Seahawks Practice - VIP Status

This year we didn't think we would make it to Seahawks practice. I went online and the tickets were gone! In the years past it was no problem but I guess it is becoming more popular....or as Cirdan would say it's the bandwagon fans. I kept the screen opened and every other day I would check to see if one would open up. I got lucky and the last day of practice some tickets became available. Cirdan and I got a babysitter and went just the 2 of us. It was nice. It always makes me super excited for the season to start.

A perk to owning a moving company??? Moving Seahawks players who can get you tickets to games or friends and family events! Cirdan moved Jeremy Lane a few months back and he came through with some tickets to a friends/family Seahawks practice. We didn't know this the previous day so we ended up going 2 days back to back. It was awesome! We were right there on the sideline (pretty much on the grass). They had a catered lunch and after some of the players stuck around for autographs/pictures etc. He got 4 tickets so Greg and Kaiya came with.

Twas the Night Before the 1st Day of School......

School starts TOMORROW!!! We had a really fun summer! I am sad to see it coming to an end but also excited for the new school year to start. Ella got a fabulous teacher!! My sister Kaylee had her in Kindergarten and she is absolutely wonderful. She is the type of teacher who really loves the kids. She sits with them at lunch every day so that she knows they eat their food (not many teachers would do that) and she treats them like her own kids. I have seen her at a handful of people houses...she attends birthday parties and extra curricular activities. She even attended Kaylee's wedding open house that she had here in Washington last year. Ella will have a fun year! She knows a little girl in her class that she met last year in gymnastics. I am glad about that!
Kaiya has the same teacher that I had in 4th and 6th grade her name is Ms. Heedum. She was a strict teacher but one of my favorites. She expected a lot out of us and I learned the most from her. She is very funny and loud and I can't wait for Kaiya to experience a year with her! I think I am more excited than her! Kaiya also has her friend from church in her class. Woo hoo! She is not looking forward to getting up early again....or homework but she is excited to read books and science.

Today we are going to have a chill day at home. Watch movies....and relax. The kids want me to take them to frozen yogurt after lunch and I think my mom is coming to make cookies with them. Kaiya does have dance this afternoon until 9:00pm! Late night before the first day for her!

This place is definitely a yearly place to go. Would especially be fun with older kids. We had a very relaxing and fun vacation and I am glad we were able to go.
