Thanksgiving - Good and Bad :)

We celebrated Thanksgiving again this year at my parents house. Just like all the years past we had a ton to eat and had a fun time! This year was a little different. I ate and ate and then came home and about an hour later was in the bathroom throwing up everything!. It was bad. My main concern was that it was food poisoning and was hoping that not everyone would be getting sick along with me. Thank goodness it was just me. Must have been some horrible stomach bug. It took a good week to get a small appetite back.

 In fact, it has taken this long just to want to do a blog about Thanksgiving. I was not looking forward to looking at the pictures and reliving that night. I did however, lose 6 pounds within that 48 hours and have kept it off...even with Christmas here and gone! Woo hoo! Weird, I know.

Kaiya was with her dad on Thanksgiving so I took one picture of her before she left...

I made bacon rolled chestnuts and some of these little sweet potato bite appetizers. Sorta cute.

Over at my parents everyone was getting all the food prepared.

Well some were. Some were also sitting at the table waiting....patiently....

After dinner we also relax, visit, play games and look at the ads.

My First Thanksgiving!

We also skyped with Rusty and Kaylee. Rusty's family has a dog that looks like cheeto so they were doing some online dating.

It's always fun to skype with them to see Rusty's silly faces.

We had a TON of pies. I made a banana cream one which turned out delish!

I don't think I did one post all of December!! We were busy!! I am catching up today so beware...there will be a lot! Lots of fun things....coming your way...... :)

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

On November 6th Cannon rolled for the first time! He went from his back to his stomach. Ever since then he rolls pretty much as soon as you lay him down. Last night (November 24th) he rolled from his stomach to his back. He is growing up way too fast! No more laying him on the couch and walking away.

Voted - DONE!

We voted for President this year and I did my part! Did you do yours??

My Boys

Cannon is getting so big!! He likes his bumbo but only for about 5 minutes. I love his smiles! He is always smiling and laughing.

Jett Turns 2! Happy Birthday!

Jetty boy turned 2! The night before his birthday we went to Rainforest Cafe. Nate, Amy, Carter, Amy and my dad also joined us. It was a great time!

When he woke up we gave him some fun balloons! We had to take Kaiya to dance so we headed to McDonalds for some birthday breakfast.

Since it was the weekend before Halloween we had our trunk or treat at church. It was a fun party. For some reason I can't find my pictures from that night. The kids got a bunch of candy...even with it pouring down rain right when the trick or treating started.

When we got home Jett opened some gifts. He got a fun puppy from my parents.

On Sunday we had a family party. We went easy and just had pizza and cake. Our neighbors next door also came over to celebrate. Our kids have a lot of fun with theirs....

This cake was a headache. It was not supposed to look like this but I gave up after them having to already redoing it once.
