July 2nd
We left Washington on our adventure during the month of July! We were going to be gone all.month.long. Totally fun! Excited to create more memories with my family!

July 7th
Even though each day we had stuff going on with dance we still made sure the boys would get to the play in the pool and we could see the sunshine.
We left Washington on our adventure during the month of July! We were going to be gone all.month.long. Totally fun! Excited to create more memories with my family!
Our first stop was Sacramento, California.
We made it! We met Stacey's family and my parents (they were staying with Stacey) at Chipotle. Hank was only a tiny little baby. We were happy to be able to meet him and see the rest of the family!
Ella stayed over at Stacey's house that night and we got a hotel in the Cameron Park area.
The next morning we woke up and headed to Anaheim!
The drive wasn't bad. I was surprised how ghetto it was between Sacramento and Anaheim. I was really happy we ended up staying in Sacramento for the night. We would of had to either drive during the night or stay at a sketch place.
July 3rd
Made it in time for story time by the pool
July 4th
We made it to Anaheim - ready for dance nationals!

Then more came....
After we all swam and got ready we went to Downtown Disney with some dance friends to get dinner and watch the fireworks.

Everyone waited to get pizza at the pizza place but we went and found somewhere to sit and eat outside

We weaved through the crowds of people and found a spot to watch the fireworks. There was a ton of people (which we figured). I forgot to mention that before the fireworks we went down to the beach to see if we should go there. We drove around for a while but didn't see any options to park and no one was leaving. This was plan B..which was fine with me!
When we got back to the hotel the fireworks were still going off at Disneyland so Cannon was watching from our hotel window. He could also see all the fireworks from around the city.
July 5th
1st day of competition!
Since we were staying at the same place as the competition our room was the 'hang out' room for the teens
July 6th
There was a coloring/project station in the hotel lobby. That was nice for the boys.

The girls did amazing at dance! It was really tough competition but our team held it together and brought home some awesome awards. Proud of my 2 girls.
July 8th
What mom takes pictures of the kid when she falls? Me. We were laughing about it.
The girls can't swim until they are done dancing for the day so we had a couple of late swim nights.
July 9th
July 10th
Each night at he pool area at the hotel they had different activities. Almost every night there was story time which the boys enjoyed. One night they had movie night where they showed the Lego movie. Kaiya wanted to do something fun with her little buddy so she invited him to come watch with her and she went to the store and got a bunch of snack for him.

July 11th
Awards time! I will post in a different post about what they were awarded. Lots of awards to keep track of!
It was nice not being in Vegas this year but I also kind of wish we would go back to Vegas next year. The resorts are nicer and its hard to be next to Disneyland and not be there every day. I do love me some California though!
