2 Days in Disneyland

Woo Hoo!! We are here for 2 days of fun!!

After we got our rental car we headed to the hotel. The 3 littles thought we were going to our house in AZ. We stopped and got some food and then decided to drive past Disneyland to surprise them where we were. It was dark outside but it was still lit up with Disney stuff. I told the kids to look up at the sign. Ella was the first to realize where we were. She started yelling and screaming in excitement! She says she felt awesome and almost cried. The boys joined in soon after as soon as they realized what was going on. They were all so very excited! It was a wonderful surprise. 

The first thing we did was had Cirdan run over to California Adventure to get fast passes for the Cars ride. All the rest of us ended up on the Star Wars area. Jett's tummy wasn't feeling well so everyone but him and I went on a ride.

While we waited for Cirdan, Jett tried a ride to see if his tummy would be okay.

Cannon and I at one point walked back out towards California Adventure to go to the Cars ride. While we waited for the others we got a picture with Goofy. Cannon was really shy though and didn't want to be near him.

We ate at Aladdin's Oasis for lunch so we could get preferred seating to the parade that night. Kaiya Loved that idea!

I stayed back at the hotel with Jett since he had a high fever. Poor guy. This was from our window. The rest of them going to wait for the shuttle. It came every 30 minutes.

Jett insisted on going back to the parade so I gave him some tylenol and we headed back. There was a big part of me that didn't think we should go back but Jett was so sad about not seeing the parade.

I am not sure why we have never seen it before! It was a wonderful parade and the kids loved it!  Jett convinced me he was feeling good enough to head back to the park.  We met up and got to the reserved area for the parade.  Sure enough, Jett started feeling sick.  I wanted Cirdan to take him back to the Hotel but instead, Jett puked and rallied.  He didn't want to miss that parade!

The next morning Cirdan stayed at the hotel with Jett until he felt up to coming. We went right to California Adventures to get on the Toy Story Mania ride while the line was not super long. 

Cannon loved this ride. We went on it 3 times in a row.

Cirdan got there with Jett and they waited in the toy story ride for a bit. We met up after for the boys to play games and the girls went on the Monsters Inc ride.

We noticed a cars ride that we hadn't seen before. Not sure if it was new or not but we decided to try it. The line was a little long but we went for it.

While waiting in line it started to rain a little bit.

Then it was our turn! Finally! We were up next. We went through the gates. Picked our cars. Then they told us to go back out on the other side of the gate. They were shutting down the ride for a bit because of the rain. So we waited. And waited. Then realized it was not going to start back up.

Some people left but we decided to stick it out and good thing we did because they gave us front of the line passes for any ride in the park that day.

Cannon wanted some cotton candy so I broke down and got him some. We are at Disneyland. The kids could have asked me to buy them an airplane and I would have found someway to do it. The music and smells that are there are sort of hypnotizing. 

We decided to use our front of the line pass on the Toy Story Mania ride that night. We were standing in line and Kendra got my attention and motioned me to look behind me. In line was Maya Rudolph. An actress that I love. It was so cool. Kendra was star struck. It was so funny how exited she was.

Everyone waited to go on Thunder Mountain except Kaiya, Cannon and myself. We weaved thru the people and went to try a Dole Whip. 

While we were walking through Disneyland we saw Topher Grace. Kaiya and I spent our time walking around looking for him again. (we were bored)

It was a long but fun 2 days!

Disneyland and I have a love/hate relationship. I love it. Yet hate it. When I am there I hate all the people but when I get home I want to go right back and I forget how crazy it is. I am looking forward to going back in July!

Airplane - Spring Break!

The kids did GREAT on the plane. Cannon wanted to sit by dad so Jett got to sit by me. I got the talker. Cirdan got the chill kid. Really good flight and we got there in no time.

The fun part about this is that the 3 little kids thought we were flying to Arizona. They had no idea we were going to California first and going to Disneyland for 2 days. Since we landed when it was dark and they are so young they never even figured it out. Even after the airline attendant said about 5 times, "welcome to Orange County!"

Ella's Kindergarten and 1st grade teacher took her and a friend on a surprise trip the day we left for Cali. She took them to Build A Bear, Chipotle and Ice Cream. Ella was sooooo excited. That was her first time making a build a bear. When she got home and we told her that she couldn't take 'Bobby' with us she had a breakdown and cried. She did not want to leave without Bobby. We finally put our foot down and she got the hint. We were not taking him. My mom saw this little fit she was throwing and decided to take Bobby while we were gone and send Ella pictures of the fun things he got to do while we were gone. Ella thought it was the best thing ever. Kaiya even loved it. Every time Ella would get a picture her and Kaiya would run to me and show me what he was doing. It really was nice of my parents to do that for Ella and she loved it so much.
