Pumpkin Patch

We haven't been to the pumpkin patch as a family for years now. Not even sure the last time was. This year I made it a point to go. It was a nice non rainy Friday afternoon and we loaded up the kids. We ended up at the patch near our house - the same one we went to for the boys Preschool field trip.

Trunk or Treat

We love Halloween parties!! I love having the chance to dress the kids up in their costumes more than just the one night. We went to the ward's Chili Cookoff Halloween Trunk or Treat. It is actually more like a Table or Treat because instead of tromping around outside in the rainy darkness they turn off the lights in the gym and the parents set up tables around the room. The kids just go from table to table until people give out all of their candy. I love it this way much better!

After we ate the YW and YM set up a couple of rooms for the kids to play games. Jett met up with his buddy Tyler.

Nate asked me, "so are you going to decorate your table?" I laughed and said no. Then I came back into the room and saw this. Show off. ;)

Got my hair cut! Actually had a lot taken off! I love it. Feels so good to get that extra 'weight' off.

My mom was making bread when the boys and I were there. Jett wanted to take some home so she let him. We baked it and the boys ate it within 5 minutes!

Jett's friend Tyler came over for a playdate. It was Jett's dream come true. He loves Tyler.

What a messy kid

Cirdan has Pinky's ashes in his office at work. He was explaining to Ella what was in the box. Her reaction was priceless. So funny.

The boys like playing Tangled (what they call it). Jett or Cannon go on the top and hang a blanket down. The other tries to climb up their 'hair' latter. They do this for hours.

Arrested

Kaiya had handcuff's for her Halloween costume. The boys love playing with them. Kaiya likes to arrest them. It's a win win. Cannon is super sly though and can get out of them every time. Not sure how he does it!

Gecko

Mister I am not getting a pet for the kids got a pet for the kids while mom was out of town!!! A gecko at that!! EEK!!! I can't hold that thing! The kids were really excited though and they love him. Kaiya named him Maui and keeps him in her room. His skin is actually very soft...almost velvety. He is very chill and just sleeps most of the time.
