Ella's 7th Birthday

I took some rice krispie treats in to Ella's 1st grade class. She was was loving all the attention.
Ella had a pajamas and pancakes breakfast. She invited her closest friends and had a blast!
Her wonderful teacher even came!
She had a rice krispie cake since she can't eat much gluten and it was still early in the morning. Worked perfectly!
Happy Birthday Ella!

The girls played a couple of games and made some necklaces and bracelets. We had fruit loops for them to make cereal necklaces too.
Cannon was entertaining the girls and showing off his big muscles
Ella wanted to write out the menu
The neighborhood friends
Aunt Emily and Ben came by later that night to celebrate and then Meema and Papa also stopped by.

Easter

Easter was pretty fun this year. The kids got their Easter baskets when they woke up and then we just chilled at home. We didn't want to have the 'traditional' Easter celebration so we had Mexican food! :)  The neighbors came over for dinner and then the dads went over to Crestwood and hid some eggs for a hunt. It was perfect and we all had a lot of fun!

Summer Sun and Sprinklers

These boys crack me up. The things they do just make me laugh, smile or want to have a mental breakdown.
The sprinklers were on in front so they begged me to go run thru them.  They just took off their shirts and off they went!
Ella joined them too

Blue Angels

The Blue Angels were back in Seattle so we took the kids (minus Kaiya) to see them practice. By the time we got there a lot of the grassy area was taken but we found a place in the shade and set up camp. It was hot outside. While we waited one of the boys almost fell down a huge embankment, Ella had to also go to the bathroom (no bathrooms there). Thankfully we were sitting right next to a nice motorcycle cop who took Cirdan and Ella up to the house across the street and the nice people let Ella use their bathroom. Once the Blue Angels started the boys weren't really interested. The girls loved it though.

bored waiting

A popsicle man came by right as we were leaving. Perfect timing. The kids all HAD to have a popsicle.
