October

Another soccer Saturday
10/14
Jett likes to be pampered by his sisters and his sisters love pampering him.
Went to see the Kentridge dance team perform. Seems like I was by myself even though I had 2 people with me. Tweens!
10/16
Once again the adventures of walking Ella to school.

Took Cannon to the park. He was scared to jump. He has no fear and then we get here and he is too scared to jump off this little thing. What a nut.
I love the way he sleeps. Makes me jealous when I see him like this.
10/17
Seahawks!
10/19
So cute
Fishing off the counter
He went downstairs first thing in the morning and came back up with a cookie. I am a sucker for this little guy so I of course let him eat it. In my bed!
10/20
Jett's letters
Found this that Ella made for Kaiya. Nothing is better than when my kids do nice things for their siblings.
10/21
He's cool
I was nice mom and let Ella have some friends over.
I even let them paint their nails!
10/23
I went and vacuumed out my car, then stopped to get the boys some fries. As soon as I took a corner this happened. I had to laugh because...what are the odds? Vacuum and then within 5 minutes this. And the kids weren't the ones to made the mess this time!!
What I saw when I opened my door
Found him sleeping on the floor. With is fishing pole. Can you tell he likes to pretend to fish?
10/24
Took Kaiya and a friend to meet some friends at a haunted corn maze. I didn't want to spend the money to get scared so I waited for them (a dad went in with them). They had fun and said they just laughed the whole time. It was cold and rainy and muddy. Not my thing.

My Beautiful Nieces

October 11th - 14th
**WARNING**
If you scroll down below you will see a lot of selfies. You have been warned.

Jemma loves her aunt Heidi
You have no idea how much I miss my nieces. My fragile heart just can't handle them being so far away from me.
She really does love all these selfies
What we do when we get together. (probably texting each other)
Sisters!
Ivie also came to visit
Kaylee's twin
Hate saying goodbye!!

Date Night

Cirdan and I try to have a date night at least once a week. I am glad that he is so adamant about it. I tend to get into my weekly groove and sometimes want to just stay home but in the end it is fun to get away and charge up.

These 2 Guys

There is a process that goes into walking Ella to school. It looks like this….
Jett always wants to match Daddy
A playdate with Avery and Kellen. Cannon and Avery found the TV.

Matthew Shaffer

ADA hosted a master class with Matthew Shaffer (google him for resume). The girls loved it! Besides dance classes there was also an acting class and a class for kids and their parents. I went to the class with parents and learned so much! He was very entertaining and funny. I think he will be coming back the beginning of 2015 and we are already looking forward to his return.

Boys Bedroom

Cirdan and I got the boys some big boy beds and decorated their room. It was fun to do it! Sports is the theme. With some Hobby Lobby and Pottery Barn shopping it came together! Now to get them to sleep in their own beds in their room…..

Crazy Cannon

Cannon loves to pretend he is fishing. Any object he comes across that he can hang over to pretend he is fishing is his favorite. He will find an item (jump ropes, work out bands etc) and carries it everywhere with him. In this picture he was fishing off his carseat.
Took him to play outside. He had to carry a Halloween spider web and a golf club the whole time.

The neighbors dog was out. Cannon wasn't sure at first but then loved petting him.
He loves to stand on my knees and pretend that he is taller than me. He says…"I tall". He will look down at me and give me a kiss. He will be taller than me one of these days, I hope he is as sweet as he is now. :) He makes me so happy.
Cannon and Jett were playing on my bed and throwing pillows off while I was folding laundry. Cannon threw a heavy one and fell with it but hit his head on the nightstand on the way down. I went into complete panic zone. All I saw was blood everywhere.
Blood + Heidi = Not a good mix
I was running around looking for my cell phone also yelling for Jett to get a towel. I finally found my phone under some folded clothes and called Cirdan. He said he would leave work and I got off to call my mom. I was sure he would need stitches or something.
When my mom got to the house I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought. My mom was making fun of me for freaking out (saying that he cracked his head open). Just as a precaution Cirdan and I took him to urgent care. Jett also needed to get checked for a foot injury he had a couple weeks before so we took him along too.
They put some glue on his head (even though they said they really didn't need to), checked Jett's foot and sent us on our way.
These boys are going to make me have a heart attack one of these days! I am sure there will be many more visits to the doc in the near future.
