1st Day of School

She was not amused about school starting.

Kaiya was so nervous about Middle School. She even said that she wishes I could go with her (awwww, tear). Don't get me wrong, she was VERY excited to be out of elementary school, just really nervous about this new world she would be experiencing. She was scared about her locker. A few days before school started we were able to go walk around her classes and try out her locker combination. Unfortunately, her locker combo didn't work so she wasn't able to try. Her dad however got her a lock to practice on at home. Also, she had a PE class but I called and talked to the counselor and got her out of it because of her back. She really wouldn't be able to do anything in PE. Instead, she was assigned to be an office helper which she was completely happy about. It did change her schedule around though from when we had practice.

Ha ha but I sneaked one as she was trying to bolt out of the car

Ella was super duper excited to go to 1st grade. She was going to have the same teacher that she had in Kindergarten which made her extremely happy. Most of the same kids would also be in her class. She was jumping for joy!

Ava was still in town so I took her shopping. We went and got her some new clothes at Justice for her 1st day of school in Milwaukee.

When we got home she wanted to lay out all of her stuff. She was excited.

After school hugs

Ava and I went and got the girls some 1st day of school goodies. I also put a surprise 1st day of school bag for Ava and sent it home with her (stapled up). It was really hard to buy stuff for her when she was with me.

We celebrated the new school year with some frozen yogurt. YUM

Both of the girls had great first days. Kaiya loved it and so did Ella.

The day before school starts and what does Kaiya do?

1. have a sleepover with a friend

2. choose a 1st day of school outfit

3. veg out on the couch

4. watch kid shows

Ella Lost A Tooth!

June 23

Ella wasn't loosing any teeth. Then, one day she realized that her bottom teeth were coming in behind her baby teeth. I told her she better hurry and start wiggling them! Shortly after that she lost her first tooth! She was eager to find out how much money the tooth fairy would be bringing her.

Xtreme Small Fry Party

Aug 24th

Ella had a small fry party for dance. Small fry = group of little kids on the Xtreme competition team. It was a get to know you/kick off for the new year party. We went to a spray park in N. Tacoma. Kaiya and Ava also came along. It was a super hot day…perfect for a last hoorah before school started that next week.

Fun Park With the Kids

Ella was at dance for Choreography Camp so I found a park to take the kids to burn some time. We ended up at this park on Lea Hill. The kids loved it! The boys really had a ton of fun. They loved climbing.
