We decided to have Ella's party this year at our 2nd home....the dance academy! Ella wanted to invite quite a few kids and at first we were going to have it at our house until Cirdan made me really think about it. I really didn't want to host a bazillion kids. I wanted to do something different that kids don't usually do for parties and a dance party was just the thing!
All the kids that came (and there were a LOT) had a fun time! It was definitely a hit!

It was so fun to watch the kids get so into it. A lot of the boys were doing break dancing. These are usually quiet, shy boys that we know from church so it was entertaining to see them out of their shell.

My mom made Ella's cake. Ella really wanted a butterfly party so I got those edible butterflies online and my mom did the rest. Looked amazing.

This is so Ella...
Ella's eyes looked really bad by the end of the day. We had seen my brothers family the night before not knowing their kids had pink eye. Ella then woke up the day of her party with her eyes red, swollen and gooey. I had a suspicion that is what it was so I called my brother and he said they didn't have it. We ended up taking Ella and Jett (Jett woke up with it the day after the party) to Urgent Care on Sunday before we left for California and Utah and found out it was in fact pink eye. I spent the rest of the week worrying if we gave it to anyone at the party. :(
