Nye Family Christmas Party

We had fun at the Nye Christmas party this year! We did the usual. Ate chinese sundaes and had a white elephant gift exchange. It was a good turnout and most everyone was here.

We only get together about once a year now and it's always nice to see everyone. It's hard to visit with people when you have little kids you are chasing after but it's nice to be in good company.

Polar Express - Year 2

The kids were looking forward to going back on the Polar Express Train this year. They have fun memories from last year. Our Elf brought them their tickets and that day they were anxiously waiting. We made popcorn and stopped at Starbucks to get some hot chocolate.

We drove up around Lake Wilderness Country Club. Most of the houses go all out and it is a perfect place to take the kids to look at lights.

Taryn - The Best Nanny Ever!

Taryn started watching the kids last summer. She would take them to Chuck E Cheese, took the girls to dance, the bouncy place and the park. She is amazing! Then she went to college. How dare her!!! The good thing is that she only is in Ellensburg so she comes home sometimes on the weekends and always watches the kids for us when she is in town. All of our kids absolutely love her! While we went out one night in December she brought over gingerbread (graham cracker) houses for the kids to decorate. They had a blast! She is always bring fun activities for them to do.

We are so lucky to have her in our lives! Jett asks at least a few times a week if Taryn is going to be coming over. Ella always face time's her. This summer she is going to Vegas with us to help with the kids during Kaiya's dance competitions. She's the best!
