Kindergarten Thanksgiving Celebration

The day before Thanksgiving was a very busy day for us. We had our Jackson Family photos and then rush Ella to school. Kaiya had a fever so she went home to rest. Ella's Kindergarten class had a Thanksgiving celebration. They sang some really cute songs and served us pumpkin pie. The kids made super cute paper accessories. It was the perfect thing to put us in the mood for Thanksgiving! Ava      came into town on Tuesday night so she was able to also be there.
Kaylee and Rusty came to watch Ella
I rushed home to start caramelizing the onions for our green beans the next day. It usually takes a while so we decided to start earlier this year so that we could have Thanksgiving morning not be so hectic. After a while I smelt like a big onion. Eek!
We went to get pictures with Santa when Ella came home from school (Kaiya still had a fever) and then   rushed to my parents house for Annabelle's blessing.
Busy day but to me that is what Holidays are. Busy busy busy! Lots of love, celebration, family and food!

Jetts Haircut

Jett's hair was getting so long! I couldn't handle it anymore. I wanted to be able to see his eyes. I made an appointment with my cousin and took him over for a new look. He looked like such a big boy with his short hair! I loved it and I think he did too!

Benaroya Hall Performance

Kaiya has a new teacher at her dance studio this year and we love her! She was invited to Choreograph a little part in a Seattle Children's Hospital Benefit concert and Kaiya was chosen to be one of her dancers. Imogene Heap performed as well as others…

LENS, A Symphony of Perspective, a concert composed and produced by Mateo Messina* with performances by
Imogene Heap, Pomplamoose, Dance Contemporary, the Northwest Boychoir, Max Wu, and the University of Washington Chorale

Some information I found online…..

The dancers
Warming up…about to go out on stage
When they were rehearsing me and another mom went and sat in the audience chairs to watch. That place is amazing. It made me want to go listen to the symphony some time.
Some of the kids performing onstage. Kaiya is in the back left.
All of the kids on some sort of electric device
In the green room after the concert. They did amazing!
She was really nice and took some time to talk to the girls. The girls really didn't know what to say though. :)
We went to Red Robin to celebrate afterwards
Tilting
Another amazing opportunity!!!

Nate's Birthday

Happy Birthday Nate! You will always be younger than me but I will always be cooler than you. :)
HA HA I love this picture of him blowing out his candles. I think he got all but one. :) Good effort though!
Amy and Nate had their baby a few days before his birthday. They named her Annabelle Rose. She's so cute!
I found this picture online and sent it to my mom. She has been making really fun birthday cakes lately. Now that she isn't working at Albertsons she has a tad bit more free time. (not much though)
This is my mom's version. She did AWESOME!!!!

Best Friends

Ana was spending the night a couple weeks ago. Kaiya and her made this up. I thought it was so cute! They are 2 peas in a pod! I am glad Kaiya has a really good friends.

Random Things

Ella and Jett love doing crafts. I had a craft that involved band aides which they both love. They made butterflies and they turned out really cute!
I took Ella and Jett to the pet store one day when we just needed to get out. When I told Ella that people have rats and mice as pets this was her reaction. I feel the same way Ella….
Ella is an awesome big sister. She is really helping out with having some blackmail on the boys when they get older.
I made some healthy Lara Bars. They turned out delish! Nuts, cranberries, dates and some chocolate. That's all!
