Messy Boys

The house is quiet….for 2 minutes…so I know something is up. Go upstairs to find the boys and this is what I find.

Busted

Jett had gone into the girls bathroom, got some soap and decided to pain the window in Ella's room with it.

How could I be mad at that face?

The girls bathroom is a constant headache. Jett, Ella or Kaiya leave the door open and to Cannon that means….COME INSIDE AND GET IN TROUBLE! He loves to play in the toilet. He also loves to take all the toilet paper off the tube and put in the toilet. TMI but I have also found him in there around the toilet when someone didn't flush. Big time barf in my mouth. Unfortunately the girls still haven't learned and still leave the door open (and light on most of the time) pretty much every time they use the bathroom. Jett is now to the age where he doesn't love the bathroom. He helps me to…whenever he sees the door open he closes it and tells me he closed it because of Cannon. Jett is a really good big brother and when the 2 of them aren't being naughty he plays with Cannon really well and lets me know if he is doing something he shouldn't. 

Halloween - Trunk or Treat - and Trick and Treating!

We went to our wards Trunk or Treat a few days before Halloween. We ate chili and then went outside to fill our bags with a ton of candy! The kids always get so much candy in such a short amount of time. I always bring a lot of candy but run out….there is a lot of kids! My mom and dad dressed up as pirates and decorated my dad's work van. Kaiya was batgirl (her friend/twin was Robin), Ella was Minnie Mouse, Jett was Captain Hook and Cannon was the Lone Ranger. We found Ella, Jett and Cannon's costume while we were in Arizona at the Disney Store. They were super cute! Kaiya and Ana searched  for weeks for their perfect costumes and finally decided on Batman/Robin and nearly the last minute. Ella's school teacher also came. While Cirdan walked Jett and Cannon, Ms. Borgmann walked Ella around. It was great to have her there and Ella was excited she came.

Halloween night was fun and actually not that cold outside! We decided to go trick or treating around my friend Sandy's neighborhood. Somewhere where the houses are close to each other. :)

Ana and her mom also came with us. The kids lasted longer than I thought they would (probably because the nice weather) and we all had a lot of fun! I borrowed the costume I wore when I was 18 that my mom had and dressed up with the kids. I tried to get Cirdan to dress up but he wouldn't. Ba Humbug! 

While everyone was eating candy this guy wanted a banana.

He was loving looking at the bug on the window. Yelling at it from inside the house….and putting his finger up to the window.

The Sickness Just Wont Go Away!

Is this really happening again? Last week I got a call from Ella's teacher. She was looking pale and was freezing cold. The nurse had taken her temperature which read normal. I am thankful for her Kindergarten teacher who called and told me I should come get her. When I brought her home she had a temperature of 101.7. This was after a week of having normal temperatures.

Cannon now has a nasty runny nose.

Kaiya came home from dance last night and said her tummy hurt. Within 30 minutes she threw up. About 45 minutes later she threw up again. Tonight is her dance dress rehearsal and tomorrow is the big show! No throwing up again so I am hopeful that nothing else will come up…and she will be fine tonight and tomorrow! She also has a fever of 100.7. :( I am trying to keep everyone away from her! I don't want everyone sick again for Christmas! We have fun things planned and don't want to miss out like we did at Thanksgiving.

I need to get all the kids into the doctor…get everyone a flu shot (never have liked those things)….and get everyone on a round of antibiotics. We need to just start over! Also need to keep disinfecting the house! This spray Lysol is my best friend right now!
