Puyallup Fair

We decided to be nice parents and take the girls out of school early to go to the Puyallup Fair. We hadn't been in a couple years and Kaiya really wanted to go. Any time she wants to actually do something with the family I will make sure it happens. She is getting to the point where she really doesn't want to be around us much so every opportunity that comes up I will jump on. I am not sure if it was because she could get out of school early but I am going to think happy thoughts that she really just wanted to be with us.

The kids all had fun looking at the animals. It was a pretty warm day…a perfect day at the fair. After we left though, Cirdan and I realized that we didn't even go check out the baby chicks or bunnies etc. It was only the cows and goats.

We were even nicer parents when we let the kids go on a bunch of rides. They loved it.

Twinsies

I bought the girls the same pants before school started. The first day that both of them wore them happen to be on the same day. Ella thought it was funny but Kaiya wasn't so happy about it. I told Kaiya to go change and she didn't….so I think maybe she was just acting mad. She told Ella not to come up to her at school and stay away from her. I thought it was hilarious!

Either me or another parent walk the kids home from school each day. Kaiya wanted so badly to get Ella from her class and walk her home by herself. I gave her the opportunity to do it and as I watched for them out the window I saw them walking holding hands. It was a very sweet moment. I grabbed my phone and took a picture right before they came in the door (or before they realized I was taking a picture). I love theme moments.
