The New and Improved Playroom

When we were in Spokane for Easter we went over to look at my brother and sister in laws new house.  It was amazing. It looked like it was straight out of a magazine. My sister in law Kim is very talented and has a great eye for decorating. I told Cirdan that I wanted her to come upgrade our playroom! We talked to her the day we were leaving and she said that she would help us out. When we got home I looked up some ideas online and Kim let us know when she was able to come over. It all worked out perfect! I had the room painted a grey color and Cirdan and I were lucky and found a yellow couch the weekend before she was here. My kids were excited because she was bringing her  girls who they love to be with!
Here are some before pictures. The room was not functional. The kids just stuffed things places and every time I walked passed the room I got annoyed.

Before

AFTER!

We were going to do one wall with chalkboard paint but the painter told us about this super cool white board paint so we did that instead. The kids love it!
This is a room the kids actually want to be in now
I've been having fun with the whiteboard also
Still need to put pictures in the frames....
All the kids
While Kim and I were shopping the girls had fun doing makeovers.  Cirdan watched all of the kids so Kim and I could shop.
Painting nails
Kate hung out with Cirdan and watched some football.  She told Cirdan that she doesn't want him to play football because she doesn't want him to get hurt.
Very Very Very thankful to Kim and her willingness to do this!!! She is wonderful!!!
We had her help with some other areas of the house so Cirdan was busy hanging things when we got back. Jett always has to help too.

Casey's Birthday Party

Casey didn't have a birthday party planned so I told Stacey to invite some friends and have them over for a little party. Casey had never had a 'friend' birthday party and I thought this would be super fun for him! I think he enjoyed it...he was running around with those boys and it was fun to watch.

The Black Eye

Thanks to Jett and his big head Ella got a black eye. A week before Preschool graduation and dance pictures. Thanks Jett!! :)
And here he is....enjoying his new favorite hobby....a puzzle

Preschool Graduation

My baby girl is no longer in Preschool! She will be starting Kindergarten in less than a month. Super sad that this new chapter is starting in her life but I am also excited for her and the new adventure.
Her last day of preschool....

That night she attended an activity at the elementary school for the Kindergartners starting in the fall. They read the Caterpillar book and made some fun crafts.
The last day of preschool they went to a park and played. It was a celebration! My mom came to help me with the boys. While we were there Cirdan picked up Ava from the airport for her week visit in Washington.

Preschool Graduation!
They sang songs, received a certificate and ate some food. Ava and Aunt Emily were also there.  All the kids were asked what they were looking forward to most this summer.  Ella said she was looking for to swimming with her Nanny.  So much for Mom, Dad or any of her family!!  LOL
Ms. Graduate

She has made many new friends this past year....a lot of them in our ward at church so she will still see them around. Her favorite thing about Preschool was recess and art.

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

TROUBLE! Now that he is walking around he is constantly moving the chairs around. The sounds makes my blood boil. I'm sure I will miss that sound one of these days when he is older. Right?
