Arizona! Day 1 & 2

Pre Vacation Prep - Cirdan and I got pedicures.

Our flight left around 11:20. We waited around at the airport for a while. Cirdan walked Jett around to get him tired. The girl below is from dance (Kaylee). She came to help us with the kids. It was the best idea ever! She was great and helped a ton!

Since Cannon and Jett were both lap kids, Cirdan and I couldn't sit by each other. The girls all sat together and then Cirdan sat behind me. We were scared how Jett would do on the flight so we had snacks, the ipad full of fun apps and a dvd player with Elmo dvds. He was so tired that he fell asleep as soon as take off started and then woke up about 30 minutes before landing. He did great! Cannon slept pretty much the whole time.

Once we got to Arizona...we stopped to get something to eat and then Cirdan called his driver to see where he was so we could meet up for a picture. It just happened to work out that he had a shipment delivered to Arizona the day that we were flying in. It was awesome!

We got to the hotel around 8:00, unpacked and relaxed.

On Friday we woke up and I called Kaiya's grandma to see if they wanted Kaiya to come visit. She was excited and happy that she could see her. The weather had said that it would be cloudy and colder than the other days so we figured we would take the girls to get their nails done and then take Kaiya to her grandparents. This would be our no pool day. After dropping Kaiya off we wondered what we should do and decided to make it a....POOL DAY!! We headed back to the hotel and had some fun!

We got cleaned up and decided to go to the mall. Ella always has to take a bunch of stuff when we leave. This trip she had a pen, paper, ipod, water bottle and a handful of crackers. Always prepared! 

Christmas decorations already??

We picked up Kaiya and drove around for about 30 minutes trying to figure out what to eat. A typical Imbler thing to do. The kids had In-N-Out and Cirdan and I got Chipolte.

Kaiya had a lot of fun with her family. She went with her grandparents and cousin to get a birthday present for her other cousin (Quentin). It happened to be his birthday party so she was able to be there for it. They stayed at her Aunt Nancy's house for a few hours than returned to her grandparents and watched some tv before we picked her up.

Cannon's Blessing

We decided to bless Cannon at home during General Conference sessions. It was a beautiful sunny day outside and everything went perfect! We were surrounded by our friends and family who love and support us. My dad blessed Cannon and it was a wonderful blessing. Cannon is a really easy going, chill baby but he decided he would cry the whole time. Ha ha

Steph and Brodie's family stayed after everyone left to visit. We don't see them enough so it was good to hang out.

The kids found a craft in the playroom so they brought it downstairs to play with.

Student of the Month

I received a letter from Kaiya's school saying she was being recognized for Student of the Month of September! I was so proud of her! 1st month of school and she was already getting this great award. Even though she has dance a billizion hours a week she is still keeping up with her school stuff and doing great.

I went to the assembly and took some pictures. Great job Kaiya!!

Some Funny Things Out of Ella's Mouth

Oh mom you are cleaning up! Good job!  - When I was cleaning the kitchen one morning. I clean it every morning but I guess this is the first time she noticed.

Mom! You are nice!  (after I was talking to someone...I think she thinks I talk nice to other people and not her)

I gave her a snack on the way to church so she wouldn't be hungry. When we were almost to the church I asked her why she wasn't eating. Her reply was, "I can't eat....I am waiting for my lipstick to dry."     Oh my.

The Fly

On the way to dance today Kaiya told me that at school there was a small fly on her desk with a broken leg. It was hopping around and it almost made her cry. She felt sorry for the little fly. Her friend Kylie killed the fly with her hand (ewww) and it made her really want to cry. She was holding back tears. It made me laugh. Kaiya has such a tender heart and is so sweet.

Ella loves to play with Cannon. She often tells me she wants Cannon to grow up and be big already. I say to her, "no! we want him to stay small for a while." She likes to talk to him and make him smile. Sometimes I need to remind her that he is just little and she needs to be gentle.

She laid the blankets out and put some toys on it for him.

Cirdan has fed him a bottle a handful of times and Ella was really anxious to do it. We let her one day and she was so happy!
