Day 2 - Leaving the Hospital

Top line is blank.  Mr. No Name at that point
Proud Daddy!
Thrilled to meet Canon. I'm happy to have a healthy, beautiful son.
What a great picture Mommy took
Thank you to Stacey and Craig for the gifts!
Ready to go home.  Let's hope Daddy remembered how to make me safe in this thing :)
Gorgeous day to take Canon home.  Heidi wanted all the kids to be born in the cooler months, which around here is anywhere from the end of September through May or June.  I was pumped to have a summer baby....looking forward to summer Birthday parties.
Kaiya's first time meeting Canon
I'm still the baby!!!! LOL
Jett warmed up really quick to Canon. He gave him a lot of kisses.

Happy Birthday Canon!

Oh, I love my little guy!

7 pounds 14 oz
1st bath - at first he cried then he actually enjoyed it
Bonding with Daddy
Casey and Stacey stopped by to bring Cirdan some food, bring us a balloon and meet the baby.
She loves him so much!
Proud Grandpa
Ella was so excited to come meet Canon. Jett didn't understand what was going on. He wouldn't sit by me and he really didn't want anything to do with me. He also didn't want anything to do with the baby. I don't know if it was because we were in a strange place because as soon as we got home he was all over the baby loving on him.
Jett not cooperating. Cirdan took him on a walk around the hospital.
Kaiya is missing since she was in Oregon at her National Dance Competition. I was bummed she didn't get to come to the hospital but she got home the next day after we arrived home.
Greg and Staci also came to meet Canon.

Going in to be Induced

This was the morning of. Ella was excited that the baby would finally be here.
We couldn't decide on a name so we asked a bunch of people and here were the results...
I need to do an update because that is only about half of the votes.
Daddy shaving and getting ready to meet his new little guy
When they had me walking for an hour or so I stopped to take a picture
Wow. I was big.

New York - By Kaiya

One of the last papers Kaiya wrote as a 4th grader.

Father's Day Gifts

What Ella made Cirdan at Preschool
Here are the questionnaires that the girls filled out about Cirdan. Some of their answers are pretty amusing.

And each drew a picture of him on the back...
Love Ella's answers...

Ella's Mom and Dad

Today as I was cleaning out the office/spare room I came across a pile of stuff that I wanted to scan and add to my blog. The last few months I haven't really wanted to deal with the blog but I must be feeling a little more like myself again because I am blogging like a crazy lady!
I ran across a packet from Ella's preschool graduation. This one in one of the books that she made and I decided it needed its own blog.
March 2012 - oh cute, a picture she drew of herself...is she mad? ha ha
April 2012 - Noodles are one of her favorites. The pictures is cute, her eating some noodles (with no face...or arms). Oh, what a cute book! I thought...
Until I came to this page.
May 2012 -
This is my mom. She likes to watch TV.
Thanks Ella. Very VERY funny. Is that really what she thinks of me?!? I was hurt but not really THAT hurt until I saw....
This.
June 2012 -
This is my dad. He likes to read books with me.
WOW. That is all I can say. WOW. She is such a daddy's girl. Grrrrrr. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

As always...

Of course while Ava was here we HAD to go to Chuck E Cheese.
