Donuts and Corn Dogs
My mom has made it a tradition each year around Halloween to get together for homemade donuts and corn dogs. It's a fun tradition. Last year I wasn't able to attend since Jett was on the bilirubin lights so I was glad not to miss it this year! We all ate way too much I think I left their house with 5 extra pounds on my body.YUM

These Are The Days of Our Lives...
Since everyone is still asleep I thought I better go for it now and update the blog!
1. We are getting ready to move. I am thinking that we will be moving on November 30th. Right in time for me to put up my Christmas decorations and unpack! We are super excited for this new adventure in our lives.
2. I am putting Kaiya back into school. I have thought about this long and hard but think it is the best decision. The good thing is that Kaiya is all for it! She knows some of the girls in 4th grade at Crestwood since they go to my parents ward and another girl had a sister that danced at ADA. She will have instant friends! I loved the CVA curriculum and I think she really learned a lot with the 1 on 1. It's just hard when I have 3 kids and all of them need me at the same time. Something needs to change....before I go completely insane.
3. Puget Sound Moving has been doing awesome!!!! For it being the slow time of the year you can hardly tell! This week there were a few days were they needed 8 trucks out! They had to turn people down! We have been incredibly blessed. Cirdan hired someone else in the office to make calls which has also been a huge relief!
4. All the kids were sick this past week. Jett had it first...a 24 hour fever which turned into a rash. Then Ella, same thing. Kaiya woke up with a fever on Wednesday. We decided to take them to the doctor to make sure they didn't have some life threatening disease and it turns out that they had hand, foot and mouth disease. Yuck. Still waiting to see if Kaiya breaks out into a rash. Her fever was gone yesterday but she didn't go to dance in case she does get it. The doctor said that he had seen a dozen cases of kids with it just within the last week! Yikes. It hasn't been a great week dealing with sick kids but I see light at the end of the tunnel...thankfully...and am glad they had it this week and not next with Thanksgiving so close.
5. Ava will be here next week! Thursday until Sunday. We are all excited!

Jett's 1 Year Picture - Part One
Karina (A Fresh Take Photography) took Jett's pictures. She always does a wonderful job! Jett cooperated and she was able to get some really good shots! I had looked around online for ideas and really liked the pictures with balloons. Also, gotta have a cupcake for their birthday picture! I remembered that I needed a cupcake the night before the pictures so ran to Safeway. It was Halloween so by the time I got to the bakery it was about 9:00. I was in luck though...they had a box of 4 nice looking cupcakes. I still wasn't sure about the size of them. I wanted 1 big one and these were kind of small. On the way to Karina's house I noticed a cupcake shop so I had to stop. There I bought 2 more. I decided to just take all of them and have Karina pick out which one to use. My motto is always...better safe than sorry! She thought it would be great to use all of them and it was a perfect idea!!!

Jetty at 1 year

Head - 18 1/2 (70th)
Loves to clean. When he has a wipe he will wipe down the windows or the couches. He also loves to carry around the broom or the mop.
Says - Da Da, Ma Ma, Hi, Bye, tries to say Kaiya and Ella.
Likes to dance and has a couple of "go to" moves.
He loves to eat paper and cardboard. I spend a lot of my day taking paper out of his mouth. We call him our little goat.
Loves to wrestle with daddy and loves to be tickled.
Likes waking up his sisters...he also enjoys pulling their hair.
He thinks head butting is also pretty funny.
Likes to make little blowing and bubbling noises.
Climbs and climbs and climbs some more. He wants to go as high as he can.
Enjoys the shower and doesn't want to sit down anymore. He doesn't mind that he slips and falls every 2 minutes, he gets right back up.
Gives kisses when you ask for one....with his mouth WIDE open.
He loves twinkle twinkle little star. We have been playing the video/song on the computer and he usually will lay down, watch and go to sleep when he is tired. It's one thing thus far that slows him down and grabs his attention.
When he sees stairs he lays down and turns around. Even if he is like 5 ft away, he will scoot backwards toward the stairs getting ready to go down.
Screams at Ella like a monkey. It's some sort of communication that he finds necessary. It's pretty hilarious if you don't have a headache.
Speaking of monkey he loves his bananas.
Still a big momma's boy, he whines at mom a lot. Seems to work.....
When "Party Rock" from LMFAO comes on he will start dancing...even if he is asleep! He jumps right up and starts grooving.
Like most kids he is always looking for something to get in to. ALWAYS. He loves emptying drawers and tossing things around.
Jett loves trucks and cars. He gets a big smile when he pushes the around. He is all boy (except when he screams like a girl :)
He also likes playing ball.
Starting to like his shoes the last few months. He looks down at checks them out. He laughs sometimes when we put them on him.
That's our baby boy!!

2011 School Pictures
I took the girls up to Kaiya's old school on picture day to get their pictures taken. Just because Kaiya is doing school at home I couldn't have her miss pictures! I love comparing each year and how much they change. I decided to have Ella also take one....and I am glad I did! They turned out super cute.
