Dance Recital - Show 2

Kaiya's first dance of the night was ballet. She rocked it! I loved their costumes.

Ella was in the Friday night show. When we went to watch Kaiya on Thursday Ella could hardly wait to get on stage. She was so stoked.

You never know how the little ones will react once on the stage. Ella walked out, took her place on the stage and did everything she was supposed to! She kept her eye on the side where one of her teachers were to help them with the dance so she didn't look at the audience. It was so cute!!

Some Xtreme team coaches put together a hip hop parents team. They even competed in a competition and at Nationals! I didn't want to do it...my excuse was Jett. :)

There are so many dancers at her academy that the chances for Kaiya to receive an award were slim...BUT....she got one!! She receive the Most Potential award!!!!!! We are so so so proud of her and her hard work and dedication. She has grown so much this past year. She is a wonderful dancer.

Woo hoo!!!

Ella was so sleepy after her show she fell asleep on the way home. I tried to put her jammies on her but she refused, so she slept dressed up as Snow White. Makeup and all.

Dance Recital - Show 1

This years show was Beauty and the Beast and Shrek. All the kids did really well! It was a fun show to watch, they always put on a really good production.

Kaiya tried out for a character roll and got the role as Tinkerbell in Shrek. She was so excited and it was like a dream come true for her. She kept bugging me to do it but the extra hours of practice almost push us over the edge. It was a good time though and I will let her do it again.

Kaiya had hip hop and Jazz on the first night. She had a bunch of outfit changes and was a busy girl!

Some of the Xtreme team also got to show case their dances for the other people at the dance academy that aren't part of the team. Kaiya's I Like to Fuss was chosen as one the routine's.

Kaiya was also in the Xtreme finale. All the Xtreme kids learned a short dance. It was really cute!

Lazy Days of Summer

Since the nice warm summer weather came and then went away the girls played inside the house. They made up a menu and played cafe. I think Kaiya was the waitress and Ava was the customer. She had fun making drinks and using real fruit on the side. She did that all on her own. Such a creative girl!

zzzzzzzz I was in the kitchen most of the day making cake pops with my friend Hailey so Jett got bored and fell asleep in his high chair. He did that twice that day! Had never done it before and hasn't done it since.

No I did not babysitt a little baby girl. That's my son Jett. Not cool, the girls think this is hilarious...I think it would be fair to have them all wear mustaches and boy clothes.

Kaiya had done an avacado mask at her friends house and wanted to do it again when Ava was here. They each took turns...Kaiya put the mask on Ava and Ella then Ava had her turn to paint it on Kaiya's face. They looked like green cute monsters.

While waiting for their masks to harden they watched some tv. Their faces felt so soft when they washed it off.
