Birthday Bash

We celebrated Cirdan, Kaiya and my Dads birthday's at my parents house. Gram and Uncle Brad came over too. We ate lasagna, and had cake that Kaylee had decorated. It was also Amy and Nate's anniversary on May 3rd so we celebrated that as well. Busy celebration day!

Kaiya had school on her birthday so she woke up and got ready for school. After Cirdan woke up they both read cards sent to them from family. Kaiya left for school and Ella and I took Cirdan to a birthday breakfast. Cirdan then went to work. After school Kaiya went to her dads to celebrate and the plan was for Cirdan and I to go to dinner until we ended up in the emergency room (because of my pregnancy).

Kaiya's Birthday P-A-R-T-Y

Party! She had 5 of her good school friends over and Bailee her cousin. The girls danced, sang, had talent shows, played hide and seek, yelled and screamed (my ears are still ringing) and played pin the tail on the donkey. They ate pizza for dinner and had ice cream sundaes. Kaiya requested a cheesecake for her birthday so we had one of those also!
After everyone left Bailee spent the night. They wanted to play a Wii game and picked Wii Active (workout). They did lunges and jumps and had fun playing. They wanted me to wake them up at 6:00am so they could wake up early to finish their workouts. They were bummed when I didn't. Silly girls. Bailee went to church with us the next day and hung out until her dad came and picked her up.
Kaiya has good friends and we were glad she had a blast.

My Miss Smarty Pants

Kaiya was student of the month for March. We are so proud of her! She is a very smart and determined girl and she loves school. She even wishes that school was on the weekends. This is what her teacher wrote about her...

Kaiya always tries her best. Everyday she makes sure our room is spotless. She has a work ethics that amazes me. She works on hard math ideas until she understands them. She never wants to give us. Kaiya is also working very hard in reading. She is reading a series of books that are very challenging, but she is doing great! Kaiya is always trying to do better. I appreciate her "Can Do" attitude. Thanks for all the help, hard work and positive attitude Kaiya!

When Ella is too quiet...

this is what happens...Diaper rash cream. All over herself, caked on...all over our bed. That stuff is so hard to wash off!!

Ella's Birthday Party

We had an Easter/Spring birthday party. Lots of people came and we are so thankful for all the family and friends that made it to her 2nd birthday. Here are some pictures from the day...unfortunately I didnt get any little video or pictures of the entertainment which was Ella dancing to Michael Jackson. She is a little performer and doesnt care how many people are sitting there watching her dance.

She can count to 13...but she usually skips 3 or 6 and 11, 12.


Ella loves babies and likes to hug and hold Emma on her lap. She gets concerned whenever she hears a baby cry.

She loves to laugh and her smile lights up the room.


Ella talks all the time and its getting easier and easier to communicate with her verbally.


She isn't very shy and will wave and say hello and bye bye to just about anyone.
